Mary, the "mother of God": the massive deception!

Time and again, I find myself responding to the same issues, thus I thought I would put them in a handy-to-find place for future use.



The Babylonian roots of Roman Catholicism.

Ancient pagan societies who ruled by the priestcraft of magic and sorcery had many pagan gods, but goddess worship such as ISIS in Egypt and DIANA of Greece was definitely one of their key goddesses, which later worked its way into the cult of Mary in Rome.

The worship of Mary was never taught by the apostles of Christ, yet Roman Catholicism teaches this pagan idolatry.

"The central fallacy of Mariolatry (also spelled Maryolatry) is that it assigns to Mary an unscriptural role of mediator between God and man. Within Catholicism, the 'Blessed Mother' is just one of many such go-betweens. However, the scriptures couldn't be any clearer on the subject of mediators between God and men. The apostle Paul exhorts the believers: 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;' (I Tim. 2:5); 'he is the mediator of the new testament.' (Heb. 9:15). 'Jesus the mediator of the new covenant,' (Heb. 12:24); 'by himself purged our sins' (Heb. 1:3). Jesus Christ himself said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' (John 14:6). Nowhere in the scriptures is there a single example of the disciples or the apostles praying to Mary or any other deceased saint. Jesus said, I am the door of the sheep. And, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. (John 10:1,7). (It is interesting to note that the text of the NAB, the official Bible of the Catholic church, acknowledges these facts, while the teachings of the Catholic church contradict its own Bible.)"

This is a blasphemy and the sign of the apostasy and of the antichrist predicted by St. Paul. (Read 2nd Thessalonians 2:2-12; Revelation 17:1-9; 13:5-8,18).

Many Bible students see the number of the beast (Rev. 13:18), 666 in the Roman letters of the Pope's title: "VICARIVS FILII DEI." -- V-5, I-1; C-100, I-1; V-S, I-1; L-50, I-1; I-1; D-500, I-l — Total, 666.

The Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary was proclaimed by Pope Pius IX in 1834.

The Bible states that all men, with the sole exception of Christ, are sinners. Mary herself had need of a Savior. (Read Romans 3:23; 5:12; Psalm 51:5; Luke 1:30,46,47).

In the year 1931 pope Pius XI, reaffirmed the doctrine that Mary is "the Mother of God"

This doctrine was first invented by the Council of Ephesus in the year 431. This is a heresy contrary by Mary's own words. (Read Luke 1:46-49; John 2: l-5).

The Bible teaches that we pray to God alone. In the primitive church NEVER were prayers directed to Mary, or to dead saints. This practice began in the Roman Church in 600AD

Mary was merely the mother of His Humanity! She is NOT the mother of God!! She would be horrified at such blasphemy being ascribed to her!! The Bible testifies to the fact that Mary was this beautiful and good, young and innocent girl with whom God was very much pleased, and chose her to bear His Only Begotten Son, as it had been foretold by the prophets of old!!
