“A Letter of Love to My Friends of the Children of Israel” by John Bailey

.

A Love Letter

to the Children of Israel

BereanBeacon | January 17, 2011

From John Bailey
I know five of the men I sent the letter to, through my involvement in the Professional Insurance Agents Association of New York. Each of the men is a Past President of the Association and are leaders in their communities in New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. On different occasions I've been able to have brief discussions with three of the men about Jewish religious traditions versus the freedom from the penalty of sin, Hell, and freedom from the bondage of religious traditions, which comes through faith in Jesus Christ. The discussions have included the High Priest's blood sacrifice in the Holy of Holies for the atonement of Israel (Yom Kippur) and how Jesus Christ was crucified on the day of atonement to not only pay for the sin of Israel, but for the sin of all mankind, once and for all.

Another man is a client of mine who is a leading business professor at Cornell University. I've known him for 20 years and we've come to be friends over the phone, through the years. He knows I'm a believer in Jesus Christ and he is respectful of my beliefs. We're able to have discussions of faith from time to time, but he usually changes the subject as he's a quick paced person.

The Lord placed on me great conviction to write the letter that you've worked on and placed on youtube. The letter was sent to each of them with a copy of the Holy Bible, King James version. It is my heartfelt prayer that these men and the rest of the children of Israel, wherever they may be, will come to personally know Jesus Christ as their Saviour, as He is the Messiah as prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled by Him in the New Testament.

“A Letter of Love to My Friends

of the Children of Israel”

I come to you with this message in the love of God. You are my friend and I have been given a message from God to share with you. It is of the utmost importance as it concerns your eternal destiny. What follows is a message that God has laid on my heart to share with you.

In our world today it is frowned upon to talk of matters of faith and God, this is of course how the devil would have it. He is a murderer and a liar and does not want the truth to be revealed about God. I come to you with a message of love and joy from God.

You no doubt have been instructed in the laws of God at some point in your life:

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other Gods before me. Exodus 20:2-3

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down theyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:4-6

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. Exodus 20:7

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. Exodus 20:12

Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor’s. Exodus 20:13-17

And the LORD God had Moses read these laws to the people. “And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do. And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered up burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD. And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. And he took of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.” Exodus 24:3-8

God’s covenant required that if His people obey these laws it would go well with them, then He told them what would happen if they did not obey and He instituted judgments should these laws be disobeyed. Then he instituted ways of atonement for sin. God knew the people would need atonement for their sins (for the transgression of His law) and God instituted that atonement would be made through blood sacrifice, as the covenant was agreed to with a blood sacrifice, see above. As you know, each year the High Priest of Israel would make a blood atonement for the people of Israel. “Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleaness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleaness.” Leviticus 16:15-16

This is what you are to practice on Yom Kippur. And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be done of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you: For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD. “ Leviticus 16:29-30 This atonement is to be done with blood.

Now let me ask you, have you obeyed all of God’s laws since you have become of age? The 10 Commandments are listed above… have you obeyed them all in thought and deed since you were 13? Can you be assured that your transgressions of the law have been atoned for? Has blood been personally sacrificed for all of your sin and for the sin of your family? God is Holy and He will not allow a transgressor of the law to come into His most Holy place, Heaven, without having the trangessor’s sin cleansed by blood. The LORD told Moses in Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.” King Solomon said in Proverbs 20:9 “Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?”

If you were to die tomorrow, can you be assured that you are going to Heaven? If there has not been a new covenant instituted by God to pay for the sins of the children of Israel, how are your sins atoned for if there is no blood sacrifice? The LORD didn’t say the prayer of a Priest/Rabbi would suffice or that your own good works would suffice. “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Isaiah 64:6 Blood must be shed to atone for sin according to God’s covenant with the children of Israel.

God foretold of a new covenant in the book of Jeremiah 31:31 “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

You didn’t have to be taught not to kill, not to steal, not to lie etc…You knew in your heart that these things were wrong as does every culture and person (everyone) around the world from the jungles, to the deserts, to the cities of the world. The laws of God have been written on everyone’s heart at birth. This would indicate that a new covenant has come, along with the fact that blood atonement is no longer made for sin and there is no temple where the sacrifice can be offered to atone for the sins of Israel.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for a second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the LORD.” Hebrews 8:7-9

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.” Hebrews 8:10-13

Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant; And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you. Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:1-28

These verses from the book of Hebrews were written by the Apostle Paul, formerly know as Saul of Tarsus. Saul of Tarsus was well known for his persecution of the early believers of Jesus Christ and was well versed in the laws of God as he was taught by the Pharisee Gamaliel, who was a doctor of the law and of great reputation among the people. Then Saul had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ while on the road to Damascus to persecute the believers in Jesus Christ that were there. This encounter with Jesus Christ would forever change his life and he would go from being the most zealous persecutor of the early believers to the most zealous proponent of Jesus Christ. (See Acts 22)

You may have been taught some of the scripture concerning the prophecy of the Messiah. God’s Holy Scriptures will reveal to you that much of the Tanakh points to the Messiah. There are many scriptures but I will only use a few of the LORD’s scriptures to help show you some of the things that reveal the new covenant with a more precious blood than the blood of animals.

As the LORD worked to bring the children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt, he visited a number of plagues upon the people of Egypt, including the Pharoh. The final plague was the death of the firstborn of all that was of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharoh to all the firstborn of the beasts. This plague was visited upon Egypt in one night and was witnessed by all of Israel. The LORD protected the firstborn of all Israel by the blood of lambs without blemish. A lamb was sacrificed by each household of Israel and Exodus 12:7 states “And they shall take of the blood, strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.” Then the LORD said in Exodus 12:13 “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” The firstborn of all Israel were saved by the blood of unblemished lambs and by faith that the LORD would do what He said He would do. If Israel did not have faith to do what the LORD said, the firstborn of all Israel would have died as well. Once again, blood was used to save Israel. This is one more instance of the Tanakh foretelling that all Israel would be saved by a more perfect sacrifice of the Messiah.

Another instance of faith that points to how the Messiah would save the children of Israel is the account of Israel being visited by fiery serpents after the people had spoken against God and Moses as they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red Sea. Numbers 21:6-9 “And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a poll: and it shall come to pass, that everyone that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The fiery serpents are representative of sin, as the fiery serpents came when the children of Israel spoke against God and Moses and did not do as the LORD commanded. Then God provided a way for the people to be relieved from the fiery serpents when they repented and acknowledged their sin. The way was to look upon the brass fiery serpent that God told Moses to make and place on a pole. Those that were bitten by the fiery serpent (sin) and looked upon the fiery serpent of brass on the pole, lived. This was an act of faith and the fiery serpent of brass on the pole was representative of a Saviour that would be sacrificed for the people and die on a tree to look upon and believe in and he would take their sin and they would be saved by faith in Him, just as looking upon the fiery brass serpent saved the people from the bite of the fiery serpent (sin). It was an act of faith. “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. “ Apostle Paul, Ephesians 2:8-9

Now some words from the Jesus Christ to see for yourself if He brought a new covenant in His blood and whether He gave His life for the sins of mankind and was raised from the dead to everlasting life that those that believe in Him may be cleansed from their sin by faith in His life, death and resurrection and follow after Him to Heaven:

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” Jesus Christ from John 3:14

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” Jesus Christ from John 3:17-21

“I and my Father are one.” Jesus Christ, John 10:30

Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphmest; because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.” Jesus Christ, John 10:36-38

Then said they unto him, What shall we do that we might work the works of God. “This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? What dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Jesus Christ’s response to questions from the children of Israel from John 6:29-32

At the supper before Jesus’ crucifixion he told of the new covenant that would be brought by his sacrifice. And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mark 14:22-25

“It is written in the prophets, And they shall be taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the world.” Jesus Christ, John 6:45-51

What God said about Jesus Christ “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.” As witnessed to by the disciples Peter, James and John from Matthew 17:5

What Peter testified to regarding this event “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” II Peter 1:16-21

The words of the disciple John who was an eyewitness to Jesus Christ “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.” I John 4:14-15 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” I John 5:10-12

The words of John the Baptist upon seeing Jesus Christ “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29 “And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.” John 1:34

This is the witness of the blind man that was healed by Jesus Christ at the pool of Siloam, as he was questioned by the Pharasees regarding the authenticity of his healing by Jesus Christ “Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. If this man (Jesus Christ) were not of God, he could do nothing. They (Pharisees) answered and said unto him, Thou was altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe in him? And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.” John 9:32-38

God shed His own blood through His flesh in the body of Jesus Christ. His blood redeemed all of mankind once and for all time. “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7 “For I delieverd unto you, first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” I Corinthians 15:3-4 These scriptures were written by the Apostle Paul.

An everlasting covenant was made by the pure blood of God. “But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For in the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying fo the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit, offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:11-14

“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection from the dead, for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” Apostle Paul, I Corinthians 15:21-22

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he (Jesus) also likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:14-15

The LORD has brought this message to you to share the good tidings of great joy that was proclaimed by the angel of the LORD to the sheperds upon the birth of Jesus Christ “I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2: 10b-11.

I proclaim Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and the Saviour of the world. He alone paid my debt of sin and all of mankinds sin, once upon the cross at Golgotha. His last words before his death were “It is finished.” No traditions or work of men will ever lead to sanctification from sin. “By the which we are all sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man (Jesus), after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God: From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:10-14

This is a message I’ve been commanded by God to share with you and it is shared in the utmost care and concern for your soul and the souls of your family and friends. I’m just an instrument that God has chosen to use for His purpose.

I am not a follower of the traditions of men. I am not Catholic, I am not Protestant or any other denomination. I am a believer in Jesus Christ and that there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one, as revealed in the scriptures, both the new and the old. I believe the Holy Scriptures both of the Old Testament (Tanakh) and New Testament, that they are the Words of God, written by holy men of God as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. “The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.” Psalm 12:6 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

We either have the Words of God or we don’t. His Words are either all true or they are all false. This message has been shared with you to give you the opportunity to decide if God be a liar or if the truth be told. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus Christ, John 8:22 “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” Jesus Christ, John 14:6

You will always be my friend and I will always be open to discussions of these matters of faith as they will ultimately decide your eternal destiny. It will be an honor for me to speak to you of these things, if you would like to. God wants your destiny to be with Him in Heaven. This letter is shared in the love and care for you as God loves you. But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. “ Apostle Paul, Romans 5:8

Your Friend,

John W. Bailey

How to be assured of going to Heaven when you die and be saved from spending eternal life in Hell in righteous judgment for your sin against our Holy God:

1) Admit to God that you have sinned against Him and sincerely confess your sin to God and repent of it. Jesus said “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” Luke 5:32

2) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:11

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Apostle Paul, Romans 10:9-13

This is the will of God for you “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” Jesus Christ, John 6:40

These things are an act of faith and by faith in Jesus Christ is mankind saved from his sin. IT IS A GIFT beyond measure, but it must be received by faith. This gift was earned for you by the grace of God, through the sinless life of Jesus Christ (Lamb of God without blemish). You can do no works on your own that will ever amount to the work that God did for you through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He became sin for us and paid our sin debt in full by the shedding of His own pure blood and dieing upon the cross and rose again from the dead, after three days, that we might follow after Him to heaven, by faith in Him alone.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. II Corinthians 5:21

Oh there is so much more my friend in God’s Word. I pray you will seek the truth. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jesus Christ, John 8:32
