The Roman Catholic Church

Learn the real history of the Vatican and it's apostasy from the truth.

I cannot now quite remember where to find it, but it seems that 7th hill was given to the Vatican through an agreement during the WWII! One would think that, if anything, they would want to distance themselves as much as possible from being recognized for what they are, as shown in the Scriptures! Perhaps they never read that part, if any part they read!!

14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
2 Corinthians 6:14-158 (King James Bible)

One has to truly forsake whatever brains God has given any to believe the garbage taught in the Roman Catholic Church! How pathetic!

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 by Dov Avnon

.

Ephesians 6:11 – “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” The idea here has to do with the fact that we are to stand. We are to stand in the position that we have in Christ. We are to stand in body truth. We are to stand in the truth of the word rightly divided – in what is operative today.

Here is the issue. Ephesians 6:12-14 – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of his world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore.”

The issue is standing in your warfare with the Adversary. The issue is not taking a bazooka and blowing his head off or taking some M-88s and mowing him down. The issue is just standing in the truth that God has for the body of Christ – the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the revelation of the mystery. You are to take your stand there and hold the ground that God has given you.

You are standing and you are withstanding. And when the satanic attack comes, you do not give any ground to him. You hold all the ground that God has given you, all the blessings that God has given you in Christ, all the completeness that he has given you. You hold on to that, and you do not let any of it slip. And you are not moving away from it, but you are strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. You are not made strong by the Lord, rather you are strong in the Lord. You are standing in him and the complete position that he has given you in Christ.

You are taking those things, and you are putting those doctrines on as armour. There is a spiritual armour of doctrine that you encase your life in, and your soul in, so that you can withstand and so that you can stand in the position God has given you.

Now, in verse 12, he says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood. I think I already said to you that “wrestling”, in this verse, is a very special term. It is a unique term that is used by Paul to describe the combat that we have with the Adversary. Our combat with the Adversary is described as a personal, hand-to-hand combat that is a struggle. We, personally, are grappling and struggling. It says, “wrestle”.

This is not fun and games. This is “wrestling”, and in the context here, it is hand-to-hand combat to the death. It is not just an athletic game, or a promotional thing to raise millions of dollars. It is a struggle, a hand-to-hand combat between two soldiers who are in hand-to-hand combat intent upon destroying one another. It is a serious issue.

And that is the reason he uses the term here. These are soldiers wrestling together. It is a serious matter, and somebody is going to be destroyed. The Adversary wants it to be you.

Not only is it a serious matter, but it is a personal struggle. And that is the reason he says it. This is not a corporate struggle that can be done way off at a distance. This is struggle that you, as an individual believer, are engaged in day in and day out in your life. And there is a satanic policy of evil directed at you individually, and you need to understand it.

And it doesn't have anything to do with seeing demons behind the lamp stand and that kind of thing. It has to do with some doctrine in the word of God. And Satan wants to trick you with his wiles, and his schemes, to move away from focusing on the doctrine and the truth. He wants to cause you to move away from the spiritual realities that are operative today. He wants you to focus on the physical, the circumstantial, and all the rest, and not focus on that thing that God is doing today.

Today, God is forming the church, the body of Christ. He is forming a spiritual body of believers where he takes Jew and Gentile and places them into one spiritual body on an absolute total equal basis. Everybody is blessed just alike, completely and fully in Christ, by faith in the gospel.

And that gospel is that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and was raised again the third day according to the scriptures, and that he ascended up unto the right hand of God the Father in heaven. And there we are seated with him in the heavenly places.

By faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, you and I are made a part of this spiritual body that God is forming because we rightly divided the word. We do not go back to the legalism of the former dispensation and try to think that is what God is doing. And we are not distracted by the societal and governmental perfection of a future age, of trying to bring in that kind of a social order. But, rather we understand what God is doing today. We understand that it is a forming of a new creation, a new creature – the one new man of whom we are a part.

And Satan wants to take our focus away from that – the wiles, the tricks.

The essence of a trick is to take something that is real and make it appear like it isn’t real, and to take something that isn’t real and make it appear like it is real.

The Gospel Of Salvation In The Tribulation by Bryan Denlinger of Bible Believers Fellowship

.
Those who CHOOSE not to heed God's words will find themselves at a loss when ALL THE CHRISTIANS ARE GONE and the world will be left to the devices of Satan alone!

Then, should any want to still be saved, theirs will be an arduous path, NO LONGER UNDER THE DISPENSATION OF GRACE through which just believing through FAITH in the complete sacrifice of Christ was needed.

These left behind get proof of this, already, when friends and family simply disappear!

Sermon Details:
In this sermon we will look at the gospel which will be preached during the coming "time of Jacob's trouble" mentioned in Jeremiah 30:7.

We also examine some of the beliefs of Orthodox Judaism, and why God will be sending Moses and Elijah to the earth during the coming 7 year time of Jacob's trouble.

AWESOME SERMON!  I do pray you will hear it!
It truly helps dispel the many heresies told, even by pastors, who know not to divide the word of God!
Works plus Faith and "the Kingdom is coming" is preached during the days of Jacob's troubles, the Tribulation days!
The same is not for today! Today, in the Church age of Grace, WE CANNOT LOSE OUR SALVATION! We are sealed with the Holy Spirit UNTIL the day of redemption!

THOSE WHO WOULD FOLLOW CHRIST TODAY, MUST FOLLOW PAUL!

.
Text: 1 Cor 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. 17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

Introduction: Paul was a rabble rouser! Paul was disobedient to the Lord! Paul was a renegade! Be careful when you read Paul you can’t believe everything he says. Paul was a loose cannon everybody knows that.

THESE are just a few of the accusations I hear in increasing frequency. However, if you read the Pauline epistles these accusations begin to make some sense. Paul was “unorthodox” in his message and methods. His teachings do “contradict” the teachings, in great measure, of the then established “apostleship” of his day. Was Paul a loose cannon? Was he a rabble rouser?

THE answer to these questions is a resounding NO!

Before we accuse the man we need to learn some little known seldom taught bible facts.

FACT ONE: Israel and the ministry to her was being diminished by God. Israel had rejected God the father in the Old Testament when they chose Saul to be their king over God. (strike one) Israel rejected God the son by refusing the king and the kingdom when they crucified the Lord Jesus Christ. (strike two) Israel rejected God the holy spirit in Acts with the stoning of Stephen. (strike three) Consequently, and in accordance to God’s eternal plan and purpose he set Israel aside.

Notice: Rom 11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? Israel fell and the world got rich – HOW? The Gentiles would now get salvation – not through Israel – but in spite of them.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

The reason Paul’s message sounds different than the “four gospels” is because it is different. Paul is not a rabble rouser he has been given a new and distinct ministry and commission – apart from Israel and her 12 apostles!

FACT TWO: Paul had an “unorthodox” gospel! This is a very easy point to establish but does not get very much pulpit time in contemporary religious establishments. Please notice what Peter – the Christ appointed leader of the 12 (Mat 16:18-19) taught about eternal life.

PETER taught – Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Question: Peter how do I get my sins remitted? Answer: Repent (change your mind about who the Lord Jesus Christ said he was – the King Of Israel) And be water baptized in accordance to John’s baptism. (Mark 1:4, Mark 16, Luke 7:30 etc., etc., etc.,) Peter did not preach the blood of the cross for salvation to Israel!! Notice again: In Luke 9 the apostles are out preaching the gospel…. Luke 9:6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where. What gospel are they preaching? It is NOT 1 Cor.15:3 & 4 which we will look at in just a moment. But observe what the 12 did not know. Luke 18:31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. 32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on: 33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

Sounds like they have been out preaching the death, burial and resurrection of Christ all over the nation doesn’t it? Sounds a lot like 1 Corinthians 15 doesn’t it?… But they haven’t been and it isn’t! – Read the next verse: Luke 18:34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.

There is no way on God’s green earth that you can go and preach a gospel that you 1. Do not understand – 2. Is hid from you and 3. You know nothing about.

FACT THREE: So either the bible itself is corrupt (and it isn’t) or when Paul comes on the scene something new and different is happening.

Blind orthodoxy will mix the two – Bible believers will believe their bible “rightly divided”!

Those who would follow the Lord today will have to follow Paul…

Paul writes to the Corinthians and says: 1 Cor 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. 17 For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

Do you know the ways of Paul? If you are in a denominational church I doubt very seriously that you do – otherwise you would not be there.

Do you follow Paul? He is our (the Gentiles) apostle today, in the dispensation of the grace of God. He writes in 1 Tim 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

If you would follow the Lord Jesus Christ you must follow Paul. 1 Cor 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

The things Paul wrote were not the suggestions of the Lord. They are the commandments of the Lord.

1 Cor 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Paul got his information directly from the risen Lord Jesus Christ. If you would follow Christ today you must follow Paul.

Phil 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

Paul commands the Philippians to follow him that he was the ensample.

1 Th 1:6 And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: 7 So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia. 14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: 15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: 16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

The Thessalonians followed Paul and in doing so became ensamples to others.

Be careful to note in this verse the condition of the Jews! They have been set aside along with their program. One day they will be God’s people again and will carry his message again. But not today. Today in the dispensation of the grace of God, Paul is our apostle and pattern. I didn’t say that – God said that!!

Sermon Details:
With the recent push for "gay rights" and the signing of the NDAA Bill into law, the possibility for Bible-believing Christian persecution is FAST approaching! IF this time comes before the rapture, how will Christians be able to survive?

In today's sermon we look at the practice of worshiping the Lord in secret. Many Christians have done this in the past, and many more do today in countries like North Korea, China, and Pakistan.

You will see the two choices from scripture when persecution comes. You will need to decide between martyrdom or hiding from the evil.

This sermon is NOT about paranoia or bringing fear, but rather about making preparations for what could be coming soon to the English speaking Christians!

God's Promises to Christians by Bryan Denlinger of Bible Believers Fellowship

SUN 10/25/2009

In this sermon we look at 5 promises that God has made to Christians. The bible says in Titus 1:2 that 'God cannot lie', so we know that what God has promised WILL come to pass.

My Comment left on this sermon:

“ What a great and comforting sermon! ”
Indeed! Today I cannot comprehend how it is that dividing the word is not spoken of by the majority of pastors, I would say! I feel so very blessed that you "harp" on it all the time! What comfort to KNOW exactly what is what in the word of God!

So-called "Christian" broadcasting stations are so very bogus! They are anything but Christian, filled with apostate preachers! I am so very impatient for His coming, but at the same time, am so very happy that he did not come when I was not as yet saved. Statistics show that one is seldom saved in their fifties and over! Praise God, as usual, I just don't fit the mold, again! I was 52 when saved, but went some 10 years from church to church, never hearing the "right" message until it was I learned of the King James Bible! Then all understanding came cascading into place! What a wonderful feeling!

Yes, just about an hour ago I answered someone who said "if we just got together with others," etc., etc.. How blind these are!

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33

The opposite does not happen! We need to "keep separate" for our God is a holy God and does not accept leaven!

Thank you, Pastor Bryan, for another great sermon!

When times get rough, where can a Christian go for protection? Where can you find safety when things are going wrong?

In this sermon we look at the many promises that God gives to those who fear Him. We also look at the great hymn written by Martin Luther almost 500 years ago.

A high quality cd of this sermon is available at:
www.kingjamesvideoministries.com

Awesome, Pastor Bryan! I just love it how it is that you NEVER fail to put the verse read in the PROPER context, CHOOSING NOT to let any be misled thinking that it is meant for those who are NOT saved! It is not, and you are sure to set the record straight!

Yesterday, I heard a most diluted sermon by a Dr. Phil Stringer who seems to have those manure-laden titles to his name, and was utterly disgusted by it! Out of the 42 minutes he preached I could not derive more than a minute worth hearing, and that was the READING of the Scripture verse, so laden it was with nonsensical personal anecdotes serving as "filler" material! A SERMON THAT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO STUDYING DONE BEFOREHAND! No, these who Pile it higher and Deeper (PhD!) have their spiels down pat for the UNDISCERNING sheeple to gobble down!

And he said unto them,
Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of:
for necessity is laid upon me;
yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
1 Corinthians 9:16

Preach the gospel! I must say, without a doubt, never have I heard a "pastor" live up to this other than you! WOW! How blessed are we who can learn every week about His word!

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17

Praise God, Pastor Bryan, you drill the word of God into your listeners!

Thank you, with all my heart!
May God always bless you!

Lordson Roch: Pastor of Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Goa, India

.

I am Lordson Roch. I Pastor the Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Goa India. I was born & brought up in a Roman Catholic family in a below poverty line but a staunch & religious family. Right from my childhood days I wanted to be a Roman Catholic priest. Due to poverty at home my parents couldn’t afford to educate me & send me to school. I was taught A-Z & 1-100 at home & then I was put in the orphanage run by the Franciscan Order & there I was given free education & I completed my high school.

Mean while in the orphanage, the superior watched me closely & was encouraging me to join the seminary & to join their orders! Three times I received calling letters from three seminaries from three different states in India. Some situations & circumstances stopped me from joining. When I was 12 years old my daddy passed away which was a big blow to me & my family. After high school the orphanage sent all the students home.

I started working at a very minor age & left education & instead enjoyed the fashions and courses of this world. Then a year later I dreamed of becoming a lawyer & joined the government higher secondary school. It was here in my 12th standard before my board exams one man came to my home with the Gospel & was sharing it to my family members. I heard as he read John 14v6. This verse came alive to me that day. I felt the smell of my sins & I cried like a baby & cried to The Lord to forgive me & asked the Lord Jesus to come into my heart & save me & be the Lord of my life- that was on the 21st Jan 2000.

I became active in the church & started to witness to people about the Lord Jesus Christ & in the process; the Lord put a burden in my heart to work among my people. I never wanted to be a pastor & I tried to run away from the calling. One day I came home from an interview & took my Bible & God spoke to me through the scripture as I read Eph 4v1 & then Rom 8v28-30... I knew now what God was telling me!

I joined the Bible College & completed my Bth & BD. In the college the Lord met my needs & I graduated. I learnt God's word at the same time & I started preaching during holidays & I led few people to the Lord. But it was only after my graduation that I believed the AV 1611.  In the college they are always correcting the AV Bible but God was good to me & sent few people in my life where I studied and believed the infallible word of God THE AUTHORIZED VERSION BIBLE! Despite attending a Bible College that attacks the words of the living God, the Lord opens mine eyes to come to know the preserved, pure, perfect, inerrant and inspired words of God in the King James Bible for the English speaking world. Preaching from the KJV is a great blessing and there is power in it.   Ecclesiastes 8:4   Where the word of a king is, there is power: When I read my KJV God speaks to me and when I pray I speak to the God the KING!

In the year 2006 when I came back to my state from the Bible College, I came trusting the Lord that He will lead me & I would follow. As I went around for two months sharing the Gospel nobody got saved & was discouraged only to see one day one Hindu boy came to me & said " I want to know more about Christ!" I shared the Gospel & the Lord saved him there & then. Regular Bible study began with this young brother & then three more joined us.

On May 6th 2007 we gathered in my home: altogether five people for Sunday worship service. Slowly the Lord saved a few more & by the end of the year we were 20 in number.

The Devil also was busy working to split us & he did use some people & some people did leave. But the Lord blessed us again & now we are up to 30 people attending the English service and 25 in the Hindi service. & the Wednesday Bible study & Friday prayer meeting. I also give free tuition to 38 children in the slum every day & Sunday I teach them Bible stories & songs hoping to see some children coming to Christ soon. They are all from Hindu and Muslim families.

Tracts distribution is done widely & we have seen some trusting Christ and a few have come to our church. The Lord has also allowed me to preach in other states of India in the youth meetings and revival meetings and has seen great fruits in this work too.

There are ups and downs in the work but the Lord is faithful to me. There are a lot of adversaries but I enjoy it because it is a part & a blessing of the Christian life. Difficulties keep me on my knees and keep me humble and totally dependent upon the Lord. I stay with my mom & my elder brother’s family & we have all our church services in my mom's living room. God has been good to us always. I appreciate your prayers for me and the ministry!!

Fellow Servant
Lordson Roch.

.................

I am hoping to subsequently post a wonderful video for which slides were sent to Dave Flang (BereanBeacon on YouTube) which will have an audio testimony by Pastor Lordson Roch.

I happened to have seen a comment by this wonderful brother to which I responded several months ago, and am ever so grateful our paths crossed at the time! He is working wonders in Goa, which holds wonderful memories for me for it is where I was born, when it used to be Portuguese India!

It also happens to be the site where Joao Ferreira de Almeida was imprisoned and put to death during the Catholic Inquisition for attempting to translate the Textus Receptus into Portuguese!
I have dubbed him the Portuguese King James!

Pastor Lordson Roch's work in Goa with the King James Bible,
in what used to be a Roman Catholic venue,
is awesome vindication for the memory of Joao Ferreira de Almeida.
Speak of poetic justice, not to mention God's!

To me belongeth vengeance and recompence;
their foot shall slide in due time:
for the day of their calamity is at hand,
and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

He "preaches" at Ravenswood Baptist Church, in Chicago, Illinois.

This morning [January 4, 2012] I sent him an innocuous message that has culminated with him UNfriending me! You people, especially those who are part of the congregation where he "preaches," decide on the merits of his action! As for me, I truly want to throw up! Disgusting that such propose to "guide" any when it is they be so very misguided themselves! Here I copy and paste our exchange:

Hello, Pastor Phil,

Why does your info page not specify EXACTLY in what it is you believe? I find some members of your congregation a bit conflicted as to Rapture, Dispensations, Grace, etc., who promote heresies on their pages. Looking up your page, I see not where you stand with these, either. Quite disappointing and very unsettling! One would think anyone in your position to make such very clear to any and all!

In Christ,

Goodness gracious! And your website is????

Why would I name anyone if I don't know that he is simply repeating what he hears from you?

I would think that TRANSPARENCY would be in first order.

As you see, not even your website is easily found on your page!

HOW DISGUSTING! Rather than providing the website, you UNfriend me!

How very SCRIPTURAL! Now I see why there be some in your congregation to be very lost!

I shall make this your behavior public in the most productive way!

Here I googled and found the "website" for Ravenswood.
Anyone see in it a response to any of the questions I asked Phil Stringer, please point them out to me!

www.ravenswoodbaptist.com

The site claims “Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord . . . .” (2 Timothy 1:8), but its "shepherd" seems to feel otherwise!

I can see this to be a very weak church! Phil Stringer, obviously, to be very ashamed of what he believes, since he is NOT willing to disclose it in any manner! What a shame!

    • Helga Hickman How interesting!
Not a single comment in defense of this deceitful creature!
      Very telling this is!

    • Helga Hickman Yes, and do you see anywhere addressed the questions I posed to him?

    • Helga Hickman The "scripture" this church seems to teach is quite "watered down!" Look at what it says of the King James Bible: absolutely no conviction expressed about it!

    • Helga Hickman Their Articles of Faith also stress:
"The ultimate ethical responsibility of each Christian is to live a life characterized by love."

Where would you find such in scripture? It is one heck of a POLITICALLY CORRECT statement!

TRUTH is what a Christian's life should be characterized!
SIMPLE TRUTH as given us in the word of God!

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
      If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
      John 8:31-32 (King James Bible)

Christ himself told us what the "ethical responsibility of each Christian is!" One could quote no better than Jesus' words!

    • Helga Hickman By the way, their "Article of Faith" that a Christian's life be "characterized by love" is very much is keeping with Joel Olsteen's preaching!

I am now listening to Phil Stringer's sermon: Saved By Grace Or Works
MY COMMENT IS WRITTEN AS I HEAR IT IN REAL TIME, and right from the start, he DOES NOT specify exactly why and when it is that Grace is in effect! He actually doesn't even mention the Price paid at Calvary by Jesus! Doesn't even mention the name of Jesus! My goodness! It makes me cringe! He goes completely off topic!

Finally in the seventh minute he names Jesus and the price paid, YET not specifying when was/is Grace in effect!

Praise God that listening to Pastor Bryan Denlinger I and any have learned and can learn so very much!
100% Scripture is all he teaches and preaches!

Our spiritual life depends on how much we put into it, says he. Well, if one puts garbage in, garbage is all one will get out! GIGO!

And here I surmise this to be another "father and son" business!
Stringer Jr. seems to work there, too!

Goodness gracious! Can he go on blabbing totally OFF TOPIC!
Incredible! But it seems this is ANOTHER 501c3 "government church!"

WOW! Here comes the end of the sermon, and worth nothing it is!
42 minutes out of which one can squeeze no more than a couple to be of any worth, and still not having learned anything!
.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 (King James Bible)

This is something that Phil Stringer ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT DO!
Perhaps he knows not how to divide the word of God, and therefore cannot teach it! Grace to be an issue about which his congregation has not a clue. Grace the very issue that prompted I contact Phil Stringer, after a discussion with one member here on Facebook.

Articles of Faith

Articles of Faith
(Short Form)

At Ravenswood Baptist Church we believe the historic fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith.

We believe in:
  1. The absolute inspiration, authority, infallibility, and inerrancy of the Holy Scriptures.
  2. The Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three independent persons and yet one person, the one true God.
  3. The incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  4. Salvation by faith, based upon Christ’s atoning work on the cross of Calvary.
  5. The second coming of Jesus Christ.
At Ravenswood Baptist Church we believe the Bible doctrines normally referred to as the Baptist Distinctives.
  1. The Bible is the sole authority for faith and practice.
  2. Each local congregation should be independent and self governing.
  3. Local church membership should be composed of born-again, baptized believers;  who assemble together for worship, Bible study, fellowship, and to carry out the Great Commission.
  4. Separation of church and state.
  5. There are two ordinances for the local church: baptism by immersion of believers only, and the Lord’s Supper.
  6. Each believer is a priest before the Lord.
  7. Each believer is responsible before the Lord for their own personal understanding of the Scripture and for obedience to the Bible.
The ultimate ethical responsibility of each Christian is to live a life characterized by love.

We use only the King James Version of the Bible in our English services and programs.
