Helga, the picture says it all! Now, onward to look for the blog regarding India.
ReplyDeleteGrace and peace to you,
Wendi
Hello, my dear Wendi!
DeleteIndeed, I should have pointed to what he might have been smoking: he looks doped out, a state in which, in one of his books, he proudly claims to have spent most of his High School years!
Indeed! Aren't we proud to have one such fool for a leader! Nauseating!
Thanks for dropping by!
Helga
Ha! Doped up for sure! He has more than one former schoolmate that would like to share who he truly is. Obama is just a pawn used of God to fulfill his purposes, ultimately. The people rejoice under good leaders and weep under the tyranny of the ungodly. (Paraphrase) Repentance is sorely needed in this fast growing ungodly nation. BUT, thanks be to the good Lord for his saved people here in the USA. So much rebellion against God. There must be some souls still left that would turn towards Christ Jesus to save them. Have you found any? (As in the days of Noah runs through my mind quite often)
ReplyDeleteGrace and peace in Christ Jesus to you, dear Helga. I pray you are kept warm on these frigid evenings!
Wendi
Frigid is an understatement! Goodness, this is horrible! I was out there this morning, not longer than 15 minutes, shoveling and cleaning off the car while it warmed up in order to move it (we have an odd/even parking regulation here), and I froze my fingers and toes! So much for leather gloves! Another day of it, I pray, and then we shall have the balmy twenties!
DeleteHave I found any? you ask. I don't know how many, but, once in a while one will write me, thanking me for this blog, etc.. I am amazed at the enormous viewership it has, all over the world. I have learned of the existence of countries I never knew before, such as Benin! I should get a counter like Jithin has, showing where it is being seen.
Of course, many more write furious as to what I post, especially the Seventh Day Adventists. I have stopped answering them.
I see you are already in 20-degree weather! It's coming this way, thank God!
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
I pray you have a very blessed night, and a great day, tomorrow! I pray you are all well, now!
Love in Christ,
Helga
Dearest Helga,
ReplyDeleteWarmth is on the way, I pray. It was almost 50 here. I'd gone out for lunch wearing my wool coat and had to leave it in the car!
Unfortunately, leather doesn't even help when the temps. dip too low!
You should get a counter to see where people are from. I think it's such a blessing from God that he enabled you in this way. He gave you the gift of prolific writing, all for his glory.
I've only run into one SDA on YT. They are very locked into that cult. But, someone may come out of it because God placed them on this blog site. Helga....dog/cat rescuer and witness for the Lord. I still hold to that and know grace and peace through Christ Jesus is given because you heeded the word of the LORD.
The first man is of the earth, earthly: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthly, such are they also that are earthly: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:47-48
I ask your pardon for any typos. I'm so very tired. Off to bed now.
Love in Christ Jesus,
Wendi
My dearest Wendi,
Delete50 DEGREES!! WOW!! That is awesome!
I cannot wait for it to get here!
In my stats that I am able to see, I know where my blog is seen. The top ten, only. I can see them for the present moment, the day, the week, the month, the year, and all time.
I am so very gratified when I see Saudi Arabia, Israel,Russia, etc., on it!
Here what I had for the day, today:
United States 391
Germany 34
France 20
United Kingdom 19
Canada 11
India 10
Russia 10
Poland 6
Turkey 6
Taiwan 6
The total pageviews for the day were 632, so you see, there are countries that don't make it for the top ten day's totals.
I can also see what posts are seen, and how many times they've been seen. It's really neat!
When I talk to Jithin on Skype, I might look into getting the type counter he has, that others can see, also.
As usual, you are much too kind toward me. It was seeing someone to whom I used to be engaged patronizingly lie to Roman Catholics that inspired me to begin this blog, which took off on its own, with the Holy Spirit at the helm!
SDAs... I am amazed that they will profess to believe the word of God, yet, uphold a prophetess! The paradox is much too indigestible!
Well, I had already gone to sleep but woke up and here I am! I am so upset that I missed the Bible study on Wednesday! I forgot all about it! I am going to set my alarm for Wednesdays, otherwise, I can't remember about it!
17 And he is before all things,
and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Colossians 1:17-18 (KJB)
Abigail Miller sings about the above verses! It is so very pretty!
Now I will listen to the Soteriology series. I am woefully behind! I keep falling asleep and have to back track!
I pray you have a very restful sleep and a great weekend with warm temps!
Love in Christ,
Helga
Dear Helga,
ReplyDeleteI just read your post and am so grateful to God. He blessed me with what you've written. He used a wicked person to put you on the blog-path! Praying that individual did finally come to the Lord.
Taiwan was on your blog site! Praise be to Christ Jesus! Very awesome indeed.
I must go look for Abigail Miller songs. I see you post songs on YT but, they seem to be in Portuguese?
He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:6
I'm praying for Jithin and Dilish. True, faithful brothers in our Lord.
In the love of Christ Jesus,
Wendi
My kind and dear Wendi,
DeleteI can't even say that I am sorry my prayers do not accompany yours for that individual. They never will.
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.
Jeremiah 7:16
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
Jeremiah 11:14
There is a breed that is not quite human, but evil in all it does. Such are known as sociopaths, the likes of Jeffrey Dahmer and Casey Anthony, and one is counted blessed to be able to recognize such in due time! I praise God for having given me the brains with which to uncover truths not meant to be known by any, much less by me. Look back as far as I may, I always see the hand of God there to have protected me from sheer tragedy throughout my life. Of course, I have not always been aware of it, nevertheless, He has always been aware of my need of His mercy!
Today I have Indonesia on the site. Indonesia is getting to be radicalized by Muslims. Not a safe place.
Ha! Well, I think I have mentioned to you having spent part of my youth in Brazil. I so thank God for it, for there I was exposed to music from all over the world. Quite honestly, it is that music that has sustained me through the buffeting life has dealt me. I have it on all the time, as even now, while I write you!
Very young I fell in love with French and Italian popular songs of the fifties and sixties, while most of those my age were screaming for Elvis and the Beatles! Well, Elvis and the Beatles would never do for them what the likes of Sergio Endrigo, Nico Fidenco, Antonio Prieto and others, did and do for me, still!
When in 2003 I bravely got on the Internet, my first search was MY MUSIC! I found it on a Brazilian site, of course, and cried the most profuse tears of joyful thanks to the Lord, downloading tons of songs through the night! I had but been on the Internet for less than 24 hours when I made the discovery!
Today, the site does not exist, I having reaped hundreds of its gems in due time!
So, to answer you, the songs you see me favor might be Italian, French, Brazilian, Spanish, Portuguese... all from the Golden Decade of the Sixties!
Then, when I visited Croatia and Hercegovina (my husband was a Croatian from Hercegovina) I fell in love with their music! So, I often favor those, also!
Later, I learned of a beautiful Romanian Christian singer, and will often listen to him.
I have over 3,000 songs in my computer that I have playing randomly. In the summer, I listen to randomly playing some 51 cds on an entertainment center of which one speaker I place for my back yard music. I can boast of having instilled some culture in the dopes that I have for neighbors! Ha Ha Ha! Interestingly, I have a nasty neighbor who will complain about EVERYTHING under the sun, BUT, she/they have NEVER complained about my music, or how loudly I play it!!
Once, I caught several of them sitting by the shade of my tree on their side of the fence, listening to it! How funny is that!!
Just love the verse you offer! So very beautiful! Yes, indeed,I pray sheaves I may have to offer my good Lord!
Thank you, for keeping Jithin and Dilish in your prayers! I so wish they could be here!
I pray you have a very good night, and a great Sunday!
All my love in Christ to you,
Helga
Dear Helga,
ReplyDeleteThe Jeremiah verses were good reminders! And, I'm thankful, as well, to our wonderful God, that he kept you from much evil in other people! Sometimes, I think there are some that are completely overtaken by the devil. Their lives do seem unhuman in every way. They are completely void of anything that God had intended. Walking dead. Yuck. I had heard on a radio program that Daehmer (sp) had confessed being saved whilst in prison. And, was killed shortly thereafter by another inmate.
You were married to a Croatian! Helga, my advocacy for a book is escalating! Ha!
And, yes, you told me of life in Brazil and driving past the Jesus statue on your way to work.
But, now I have greater understanding of your music. Growing up, I found no comfort in music at all. I was exposed to country, easy listening and rock. I did hear a few scattered hymns at the Mormon cult. My music became the rustling of leaves and long walks in the woods. But, God broke through my life in chains of death and he showed me praise music, if even just singing the name Jesus. I'm so grateful to him for the people writing beautiful music to his glory. Hymns have become very precious.
I have noticed Mexican music sometimes sounds closely related to polka!
And, I think it's wonderful you play music and the neighbors listen! You have a hearty collection! Music calms the savage beast! At least your neighbors aren't throwing javelins like Saul at David.
You are a balm to the soul, Helga!
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJB
In Christ Jesus,
Wendi
Dearest Wendi,
DeleteOh! It's been busy here, and I tried to keep up with the blog, to post about the tragedy that took place in the early morning hours yesterday, in a club in Brazil! How disgusting it is how in Brazil it is all about "not sweating it out" about anything! Things are what they are and no one cares to be bothered to "sweat it out" about anything! My personality requires things to be done yesterday, and have no patience for the fools! Read it if you get a chance: Brazil's national motto: "ORDEM E PROGRESSO": A REAL JOKE
"My music became the rustling of leaves and long walks in the woods." -- That is so very poetic! Beats hearing mufflers that need to be replaced, which is what I have been getting lately here!
Yes, I seem to recall an interview with Jeffrey Dahmer in which he claimed to have found salvation in Christ. This prompted me to look and I just read an article that has given me the chills, nevertheless:
http://www.christianchronicle.org/article2159116~Did_%27jailhouse_religion%27_save_Jeffrey_Dahmer%3F
Yeah, "brother Dahmer" is hard to swallow, but then, how much better was Paul? and he states:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
We all fall short in so many ways, but, thanks to His grace, we are redeemed! Praise God for it!
Ha Ha Ha! Oh! If you only knew what has been thrown at me here by these same neighbors! They had hoped to run me out of town, but, 33 years later, most of them are gone, and I am still here! It is sad how jealousy gnaws at the hearts of some!
And you are right to think that Romanian sounds like Italian, for it is part of the Romance languages, a group into which fit Portuguese, Spanish and French, also.
Well, it is to be 55 degrees tomorrow, the last of the balmy days we are to have, except we have had nothing but rain, today! I cannot imagine if the same amount was to come down as snow!! Ouch!
I pray you have a good night, and a very good day, tomorrow!
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God:
many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
Psalm 40:3
AMEN!
Love in Christ to you, my dear sister,
Helga
PS: a couple of things I forgot to address:
DeleteWhat made you take Russian? I cannot imagine learning the characters! It has got to be very difficult. My husband had to learn it in school, for then, it was all Yugoslavia, which broke up in 1992 through war, with Croatia's independence!
Jithin also loves Christian Hymns!
Please, will you get together with my friend Amy, and start a publishing company? For you are the ones telling me I should publish something! My life can be the very first thing you publish! Ha Ha Ha!
Greetings in Christ Jesus, dear Helga,
ReplyDeleteForgive me for laughing through your post! You are one funny gal!
Well, in school we were offered French, German, Spanish, or Russian (one teacher taught both the German and Russian class). So, being the odd-ball that I am, I chose Russian along with the other misfits. My Russian name was Raisa. I did fairly well in class but, now I remember nothing. It was fun while it lasted. I probably wanted to be a spy as I had a very dull life. HA!
Seriously, I wasn't attempting to be poetic. My excitement was a walk behind the house after school and I remember singing things to God and I would think he was clapping when the leaves waved and crackled in the wind. Haha! Delusional little Mormon girl!
If I had any money, I would publish your memoirs! Maybe, you could post an 800 page blog post?
Oh, yes, I did see on the news about the fire at a club in Brazil. I will read the article.
Did you hear about the soldier who had his arms and legs blown off in Afghanistan? He had a double arm transplant. I cannot fathom the thought of A. losing body parts or B. having someone else's appendages on my person.
I also will take a look at the article about Dahmer. Not, that I want to dwell too much on the thought of him.
Is there anywhere you haven't been? Did you live in Croatia with your husband?
I can scarcely manage American English, let alone another language. One day the tower of babel will be completely undone. So, until that time, I will hear beautiful songs but, not understand ( unless subtitled).
You speaking of your neighbors could probably be a book in it's own right! Perhaps even a movie?
I forgot, tomorrow's high is suppose to be 9 degrees, 2-4 inches of snow and up to 30 mph winds. So, prepare yourself!
I will check in on Jithin, God willing, tomorrow.
I'm still in the Soteriology series and will be for quite some time! So eye opening! A blessing from God.
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7
Good evening to you and grace in Christ,
Wendi
My dear Wendi, or should I say, Raisa,
DeleteAh! I have read so many nail-biting books on spies! Perhaps you'd make a good protagonist in one of the stories! One I really liked was by Graham Greene, in which I think there was a Russian spy, albeit some of it took place somewhere in Africa, the main character in a mixed marriage and not suspected... I should read it again! It was a good story!
"My excitement was a walk behind the house after school and I remember singing things to God and I would think he was clapping when the leaves waved and crackled in the wind." - Oh! For someone who isn't trying to be poetic, you certainly do well to the contrary! That is so very beautiful!
Here I used to walk along the River Niagara on its way to the falls, just a short distance away. Along the way there are a couple of trees that truly sound like the clapping of little hands in the wind! I don't remember what kind of tree it is, but it is a most wonderful sound!
And I have NO DOUBT God was clapping in hearing your beautiful voice singing praises to Him! That is what we shall do when we are Home with Him!
Ah! 800 pages only?! Goodness!! It is so terrible that I spend so much time at the computer when it is I should be doing something constructive, like cleaning the house!!
Indeed, I did see that on Fox News, came to the computer yesterday to look it up and promptly forgot about it! Thanks for reminding me! I want to post something about him! What a courageous guy, who would go again to war for his country, he said! How very touching! His dream is to drive again! May God bless him!
Indeed, it would seem so strange to look at arms that were not your own! Amazing the brain that our mighty God has given us!
I finally saw something so very beautiful that Jithin had wished me to see, and posted it. "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story"
He is always sending me such gems. He likes true Christian stories!
No, I never lived in Croatia, but must say, I would have moved there, to an island called Ugljan, across from Zadar, in the batting of an eye, if I could have afforded it! Its beauty is beyond belief, as are its extremely high real estate!
Something for which I do not care is false modesty, and you, my dear, do very well with English, better than most, I must say!
Yes, it would be made into a movie: Halloween...., whatever the number is at which it might be now! What an unhappy evil bunch! Joking aside, it is sad to know I have never seen the two sisters as much as smile, much less laugh, which the good Lord knows I do all the time! I always say, if no one else can make me laugh, I have no trouble doing it myself! And no, I am not nuts! Not yet! I credit my great, God-given, sense of humor, with not having gone nuts over the years! The call was there, many a time!
No! No! No! We will NOT be going that low! We made it to 59 degrees today! Awesome, albeit a bit rainy! I had hope to wash my sheets an dry them outside, but...
Me too! I suspect the year will end and I will still be in the Soteriology series! Pastor Bruscha did not preach last Sunday. I didn't get the name of the guy that did. He wasn't bad, but not as good, either!
I think I am going to detour into the "Hell" series for a while!
Well, I believe you to be just as funny as I am, so we are in competition for the same prize! Ha Ha Ha!
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Proverbs 17:22
I pray you have a good night, and a wonderful blessed day, tomorrow! I pray all is well at home!
Love in Christ,
Helga
PS: By the way, I haven't been to the South Pole!!
OH, Helga!!
ReplyDeleteYou can switch from serious to hilarious in .25 seconds! A merry heart, to be sure!
The trees you speak of may be Quaking Aspens along the River Niagara. Their leaves are a sight and sound to behold when a breeze goes across their bows.
I have the Ben Carson Story in book but, have yet to read it.
A spy's life would be fun but, I would be woeful to put it mildly.
A friend gave me a book to read once (I believe it was based on a real story) about an American gal who married a gentleman and moved to India to build and manage a tea plantation. I remember a train hit an elephant and the poor gal giving birth amidst these people she couldn't understand. For the life of me, I can't remember the name of this book!
I hope your neighbours do not wear masks and carry chainsaws! They're that terrible?! Must be because they are in the devil's domain. At least the music sometimes tames their savage hearts. When I used to live in the city I would say "Good day" to one set of neighbours and they would act like I wasn't even there. No response. I also had a neighbour that got off work at 11:00 pm and would promptly get her dog leashed and bring it over to my yard for a poo. I kept stepping in it while mowing. So, one night I waited for her and, as her dog squated, I flipped my front porch light on. I've never seen a dog go swinging in the air like that one did! I laughed and laughed and turmed the light out and went to bed.
I looked up Ugljan, so beautiful! I like heat so, I'd move to Belize in the winter months and Mackinac Island during the summer. Maybe, Ugljan in September..ha! Unfortunately, Bob would live in Alaska. No thank you. Maybe, for a week but, no longer!
I did not know there is a "Hell" series. I may venture into it myself.
Haha..I'm surprised you haven't been to the South Pole. You could put a speaker there and your music could play on for the next twenty years!
In any event, I thank the Lord for your personality and posts! What a hoot!
A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: Proverbs 15:13 (partial)
In the joy of the Lord,
Wendi
My dearest Wendi,
DeleteOh! Life is such a hassle! I have so had it with it!
Last year I deemed annus horribilis! Not much failed to take place that was bad, from my having lost three of my beloved kitties, to having a tenant lose her job so she up and left within hours, in mid-October! To date, I have not been able to find decent people to whom to rent it!
The previous October I had a doctor get fired and so she broke her lease. When I walked in the place, the walls had been destroyed, chunks of it peeled off with whatever she had stuck to them, this in the living room and dining room, the very first places anyone gets to see! Of course, the snake slid out when I was not looking, for I was watching! If I had the wherewithal, I would sue her, for I have seen her back in town (she is from PA), but I lack the energy. It cost me $1,000.00 to rehabilitate the entire place, to include the bathroom from which wall she had just yanked things out!
It is not only very hard to rent in the winter, there just are no decent people left in this God-forsaken place! Thank God my credit is good, and so I got Honda to extend me for a month. Now I am sorry, I did not ask for longer!
Just got through waiting on a no-show... again! This is a gorgeous apartment, and I will not rent it to any dimwit, and it seems most are on welfare, which I will not have here! I can discriminate for I live here!
Last year I was denied life insurance because of my MS. Well, I do nothing for it, nor do I need to. I only had one initial exacerbation, and nothing else. So, I provided them with my whole life history, and they cannot accept that I have not seen a doctor for every sneeze I may have had!
Then they requested I be seen by a neurologist, again, which I have not done in many, many years: they all want to poke me with something, and I won't subject myself to any of there "treatments!"
So, yesterday, I went to a new neurologist, dreading the visit! Oh! My! The man is a dream, and fully agrees with me that I am just fine as I am, and not expected to have any problems! So, now let's see what happens!
A casualty of my unfortunate engagement to that evil being was that I let my policy lapse! My head was so very messed up then! I had paid into in for over 30 years! I don't have much, but would love to be able to leave something for godly people I know could use a little something! This if we don't all get taken up! Then it will be glory hallelujah!!
Well, I don't care for extreme heat, but the South Pole... I don't think so!
(Oh! My! Couldn't post the message for it was too long! Going as a 2-parter!)
Part 2 (and you want an 800-page life story!...)
DeleteAh! My neighbors are of Italian descent, so they say, albeit they more resemble being bin Laden's first cousins! Anyway, as such, they are very, very, very cheap (Am I stereotyping? You bet, and with reason!! That's all we have around here!)
Thus, it is lucky for them, they need not get any masks, not even for Halloween... They are a sufficiently scary sight! I would not want to meet them in a dark alley!
Oh! My! There I am making myself laugh! How mean, eh?
Yes, the "Hell" series is very interesting, indeed! Another fantastic study, since Pastor Bruscha delves into everything!
It is incredible but suddenly I have come to realize my dear friend Amy is not dispensational! I cannot believe we have been talking on the phone, etc., and only just a couple of days ago it hit me! What a dimwit, I am!
When I sent her a really good sermon on the Rightly Dividing series, she, very disturbed, calls me in the middle of the day (she has three little ones at home, whom she home-schools!), saying she thought Pastor was a hyperdispensationalist, and sends me an article by Ruckman. I love Ruckman, but in posting it, I stated he was off his rocker: The Heresy Called "Hyper-Dispensationalism" by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman"
Not even then, did it hit me about Amy, except something stuck with me when I said something about "grace" and she interjected "faith!"
Oh! Well! It is not a doctrinal issue, and I will not bother her with anything that goes against her thinking. She seems to be fixated in water baptism to be a must! How can that be, eh? Then it is a work, under the law...
She is an awesome person, and I love her, them (my Chipmunks!) a whole lot, and knows the Bible better than I ever will!
You know, it is such a wonderful feeling to KNOW we will see each other through eternity, walking the street of gold, arm in arm, you, me, Mary (Dave's wife) and Amy!
We took sweet counsel together,
and walked unto the house of God in company.
Psalm 55:14
Ah! Michigan has the most beautiful places! I was in New Holland, many moons ago! It has beautiful dunes on which we could race these karts! And the sail boats! It was fun!
Oh! I thank God for having given me such a lovely sister as you! Oh! I am so very happy to have met you!
What does Bob do? Have you children?
Well, I have bored you long enough! I pray you have a very good night and have plans for a great weekend. I am not a football fan, but the news have continually featured this man whose two sons are head coaches for the opposing teams playing this weekend in the Super Bowl! Oh! What a predicament, yet, how blessed is he! He is a winner either way!
All my love to you,
Helga
Dearest sister in the Lord,
ReplyDeleteI stand corrected! You would definitely need more than 800 pages for your life story! Ha!
Baptism, a great topic of division amongst the saved and non alike. Many unsaved get baptized so, obviously it does not save. A YT man under the name "stonecold474" attempted to Judaize me by sending me messages saying one couldn't be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. And, that baptism was a command to obey or one is not saved. Evil man.
Granted, I was baptized after leaving the Mormon cult and I do think it has it's proper place. But, as believers in the Church Age, we are baptized with the Holy Ghost and he is our seal. Water just gets a person wet. But, a good testimony, nonetheless.
Amy sounds delightful. It will be quite marvelous to be worshiping our God with you and Amy, Dave, Mary, and a whole roll call of brothers and sisters in Christ! Alleluia!!
Bob is a General Foreman for a tree care company. They are contracted by a utilities company. We have no children and I'm fairly sure my eggs are dried up. But, only God knows his plans, ultimately.
Speaking of scary people, such as your neighbours, I have been aquainted with some pretty people that had black souls. People I've wanted to get as far from as quickly as possible. Some of the worst are Scripture twisters and ones that believe they tell God what to do. They infuriate me!
You speak English, Portuguese and now Latin!?! Haha! What other languages?
I will pray for God to bring you decent renters and the funds to fix the ruined walls. Oh, the frustration. But, don't let it get to you. Our loving God is good and he is always there at just the right time. Wait and watch unto prayer. The right renter will find you!
I work for an insurance company. Granted, I'm not an agent. Have you listened to Bryan Denlinger's study about insurance? Food for thought.
And, praise be to our wonderful God that you have not had to treat the MS!! Have you ever heard of CoQ10? A wonderful supplement. I also get Whole Foods vitamins and we occassionally juice vegetables. It's helped me tremendously as I have ailments doctors cannot figure out. Or, they poke and prod me until I feel worse.
The glitz and glamour of pro athletes. I'm not much of a football fan either. I can only imagine the goings on at the hedonistic halftime show. But, for the man whose two sons are coaches, I suppose chear the best play! There will be a celebration either way!
Grace and peace to you in Christ, Helga. I will pray to God in your behalf!
Love~Wendi
My dearest Wendi,
DeleteIt's been one of those days, so I will respond to yours, tomorrow!
On Saturday evenings Amy calls me. It's our "girls night out" time! We have been on the phone for some 2 hours. I want you to please keep Amy in prayer! She is having a very hard time with her workaholic husband, who is a very hard worker, but an extremely bad manager of his business. Part of the problem is, he is Portuguese (like me!) who is not fluent in the language, and a "macho" type who cannot be taught anything.
I had another no-show today, and no other calls! Gee! I will be a candidate for all that Obama money, very soon!
I pray you have a good night, and a great day, tomorrow!
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Romans 4:8
We are blessed indeed!
All my love,
Helga
My dearest Wendi,
DeleteIf life were a bowl of cherries, it would be that I ended up with the pits! Goodness gracious,it never ends!
I pray your neck has gotten better! Did you work lunch as expected? Do get that neck bean-bag the first chance you get! It offers great relief! I tied the loops at the ends so I just slip it over my head!
Be careful about taking so much Motrin! It is metabolized by the liver, excess to be stored in it. That is why I like Aspirin, which is metabolized by the kidneys, excess to be expelled in the urine. It is quite safe to take if you make sure you also eat a little something, like even a cookie! Besides, it better addresses pain caused by inflammation!
I hate it when doctors need poke and prod trying to find out what ails you. Of course, it is not all their fault; nevertheless... I don't like tempting fate. In a MS packet I had gotten from the MS Society I read that it is best to "not rock the boat," trying different products that might just instigate existing propensities one may have for any one or more diseases! It made a lot of sense!
Amy's pastor's wife is in one such predicament, extremely ill, and no one can find out what she has! She was thought to have MS, not long ago!
Yes, I have heard Bryan's sermon on insurance. I have seen ads for CoQ10. I will have to check into it.
I was to have given my little kitty, Checkers, a half-bath on Friday. It didn't happen. Then it was to be on Saturday. It didn't happen. Well, I was determined it was going to be on Sunday, yesterday, one way or the other! The ordeal wore me out, of course, more than usual!
She has developed an ugly rash on the back of her neck which was taking its time to get healed, so I realized it was not a common rash, for it did not respond to hydrocortizone. At the pet store I purchased something that would kill whatever it was, but it is taking its time. It was so very costly, it better work, although they claim it might take four weeks for a fungus, which is what I think it might have been! It is looking much better, the scab about to have completely come off. I fabricated a really neat collar that prevents she scratch it! I should patent it!
That is why I like to wash her neck area every two days, to replace the bandage. She isn't too happy with it, but has resigned to the routine, poor thing!
Anyway, I collapsed in bed at 8:05 last night, dead to the world, and never got to write you! I woke up at 2 am and listened to two more sermons on the Hell series. Never have I heard any pastor be as detailed as this Pastor Bruscha! WOW!
So, Bob works outdoors a lot! Ouch! It is cold in the winter for that!
You had to watch a similar DHS video at work? Ha Ha Ha! I hope you have your pair of scissors handy! Ha Ha Ha! My goodness, I cannot help but laugh! What a waste of taxpayer money!
Well, I hope you have been having a good day, and will have a good evening and night! This reminds me of That Jim Carrey movie, "The Truman Show!" I twas so neat!
Hey, Punxsutawney Phil saw not his shadow, so we will have spring in the air quite soon! I hope!
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Romans 4:8
And so we are blessed, praise God!
Love,
Helga
Dear Helga,
ReplyDeleteI will post tomorrow. This ewe lamb is hitting the hay!
Please know I will pray for you as I drift off to sleep! It sounds like you've had quite the day! And cats can put up an epic battle when it comes to water!
1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Sleep well tonight!
