Jesus Christ shed his blood to pay for our sins. Jesus said, " It is finished" (John
19:30). That is the good news, our sins have been paid for 100% and he has purchased eternal salvation for us. It is a free gift we received simply by faith.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John
1:12.
Have you received him? Are you saved? Are you born again? Did Jesus Christ die for your sins?
All the heretics share in common their rejection of the free gift of salvation that Jesus Christ purchased by his blood at Calvary. They seek to earn it, which is an attempt at self-righteousness, and therefore the rejection of the righteousness which can only be received by faith.
"For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Romans 10:3-4.
