Well, Pastor Mike, they don't read the Bible, especially not the King James Bible, because Sid Roth believes the translations to be INCORRECT! Indeed, all of them! I viewed a video a lost soul sent me (he still does, which I promptly send to the trash!) in which he was interviewing some personality who claimed the Jewish bible to be the correct one! Indeed, this fool divides not the word of God and has no idea where he fits in God's plan. By the way, Sid Roth professes to be a converted Jew, nevertheless, insists he is a Jew! Never heard the word "Christian" out of his mouth! I find the very introduction to his program to be so very stupid: WE HAVE A SUPERNATURAL GOD! Of course I believe in the supernatural!
And that is all he does on his program: sell his products!
This young man of Jewish descent claims to be a Christian, and is very adamant about the teachings of Sid Roth! After all, it is on a "Christian" radio program! That is what he tried to explain to me! I sent him a number of videos, etc., and have decided I will not bother with him anymore! I haven't the time nor the patience! The harvest is plentiful, the workers few! One cannot waste an indefinite amount of time on any who choose to be deaf and blind!

I too find that should I make a comment that is Christ related as an example homosexuality is an abomination for for man to practice that it is construed I hate the homosexual where as this is untrue it's that I hate that evil wretched behaviour and as Yeshua Jesus says love the sinner.

I agree that Sid is a false prophet along with all the Jewish Rabbi types who claim to be Christians. In fact I think most TV preachers (if not all) are false prophets.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the word "Christian" mentioned in the bible? The early believers were either Messianic Jews or Gentiles that were grafted in to Israel (Romans 11). Why is that so hard for folks to comprehend? Sid is right, most translations are missing much of the original hebrew mindset. To say the things you say, implies that G-d changes and that is not so. Sid may be in to some crazy things but his heart is dedicated to Christ... He never says that a gentile has to be one "Jewish" to live out the gospel, nor does he say a Jew must renounce his Jewish identity. Neither is the point as we are One in Christ... But if you go on w/ an attitude like this, then you are in jeapardy of falling into the trap that Paul vividly described in Romans 11:18 - 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, it is not you who support the root but the root supports you.
