Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. What you are going to read in this book is absolutely devastating. The information and the facts we're going to present are going to change your life. Be patient with me and please follow through to the end of the book. You'll never be the same.

Most of you know from studying your Bibles that Satan will build a false superchurch ... the whore of Revelation, chapters 6, 13, 17 and 18. According to Bible prophecy, she will have great political, economic, military, and educational power, and she will persecute and murder the true believers in Christ.

I always used to wonder how Satan would be able to pull this off right under Christians' noses without them being aware of what was happening, and fighting back. But Satan is the master deceiver and I am beginning to see how he has cleverly set up smokescreens to hide the identity of the whore from the majority of Christian believers.

Let me explain what I mean by a smokescreen. In warfare, you have enemy action. When they're moving in, they set up a smokescreen. And the smoke confuses everyone so that you don't know where your enemies are. That's one technique. The other is a fifth column where you have a country that's about to fall. So you send in agents and they wear the people down saying it's hopeless, or saying, no, the enemy isn't really going to attack. And they in a sense, put up their own smokescreens to confuse the issue before the assault comes.

I believe an assault is coming by the whore of Revelation. I believe they are setting up smokescreens, and that there are others within the Christian community that are setting up smokescreens. Now, we believe at Chick Publications, that the whore of Revelation is the Roman Catholic Institution. Our position is not something new. During the Reformation you had men like Martin Luther, John Knox, Calvin, a great number of them, and then the great preachers like Moody, Finney, Spurgeon and so on, they all believed the same thing, that the Vatican was the whore. It wasn't until lately that things have changed.

You see, the Jesuits influenced people and they started setting up smokescreens during our times, through our theological seminaries, and when that smokescreen came up we started seeing the whore of Revelation in a different light. They said, "Oh, no, this is something coming in the future." Or, "That happened 'way back in the past.'" This is done to confuse the Christians. Today, many people believe this. They have been beguiled like I was when I first listened to some of these people. It was a clever smokescreen. I was confused at first, but now I see the whore in her fullness, and it is scary.

I want to show you in this book some of her activities in the past, what she's doing today and what her ultimate goal is for the future. Some will be overwhelmed when they hear this message, but I believe with all my heart that this information must be told. People must be aware of what's going on and how Satan is working to destroy the work of God in these closing hours.

There has been a multi-million dollar campaign made through the media to convince people that I am a bigoted, anti-Catholic, hate literature publisher. And do you know something. They have been very effective in convincing people that this is what I am. The truth is, I love the Catholic people enough to risk my life and my business to reach them with the gospel of Christ to pull them out of the false religious system they're now serving. I know what this system has done in the past and what it is planning for the future. I believe you'll understand when I've finished this message, where I'm coming from. But before we get started, let's go into prayer.

Dear heavenly Father and Lord, we come before you, and we thank you, Father, for Calvary, and for your finished work, Lord, for the terrible price you paid for our sins so that we could be taken into the beloved. Father, we thank you that we can come before the throne of grace in boldness, and that you're a God who hears and answers prayer, Lord. That you protect and love, and watch over us. In Jesus' name we bind the forces of darkness surrounding anyone reading this book, and we loosen the angels of God to protect them against the attacks of satanic forces. I pray You will open their spiritual eyes and give them wisdom that they may understand. I bind any critical or self-righteous spirit in any of the readers, in Jesus' name. Lord, help us to be broken before you as we turn to you for our help. And Lord, we pray that as a result of this book, souls will be saved across this land, that a fire will start to burn in the hearts of Christians, that they will see who their enemy is, how Satan is moving and know how to combat it, Lord. In Jesus' name, we ask your help to win the victory over the powers of darkness. Open the eyes and ears of those who are reading, Father. Touch them and let them realize what's coming upon this earth. Let us be faithful, Lord, in your service. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

In the name of TOLERANCE: UNINVITED!

Dear ones in Christ,

All across the country, schools observe a time of silence, not for fallen heroes on battlefields, not in respect for the Lord in prayer, but for an ever increasing group of individuals that they call "gay." These poor, deluded, souls are being embraced, honored and defended. Any who resist this issue are branded as "haters."

Thanks to the word "tolerance," everyone is scared to death to offend a "gay." The media talking heads will always say: "there’s nothing wrong in being "gay." Judges of that persuasion push laws in their favor. Preachers are threatened with arrest for preaching on Romans 1.

Remember this scripture: "Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter... They have cast away the law of the Lord of host, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel." (See Isaiah 5, 20-24.)

How do the sodomites get away with this? They’ve grabbed onto a term that totally disarms the public. Heavens to Betsy, we mustn’t be "intolerant!"

And what is their excuse? "We were born this way!" Oh, really? The One who created them says they are "giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh . . ." (Jude 7) That doesn’t sound like a birth defect, does it? Read our latest tract, Uninvited. It’s an eye-opener that just might save your kid from that sin.

Confusion Growing over Tolerance of Homosexuals

The signing of the Don't-Ask-Don't-Tell repeal by President Obama is yet another advance to the mass confusion caused by the sodomite "abomination." It is a victory for homosexual activists, but military officials plan to use caution in implementing it.

Foot soldiers wonder how they will feel when ogled in the common showers and chaplains fear restrictions on preaching from certain scriptures where God expresses His opinion on the subject.

We are just beginning to see some of the early consequences of legalizing this sin. David Epstein, a Columbia University professor arrested for felony incest with his consenting 24-year-old daughter, is pointing to the 2003 Supreme Court decision striking down sodomy laws.

The court found that the government cannot prohibit "private, consensual, sexual or intimate conduct that does not involve minors or coercion." Epstein argues that this makes incest legal between any consenting adults.

In Maine, a middle school is being charged with discrimination against a sixth-grade child who is a boy, biologically, but has chosen the "gender identity" of a girl. Instead of allowing him/her access to the girls' bathroom and showers as she/he requested, they provided personal separate facilities and sensitivity training for the staff and other students.

The parents sued because this arrangement "isolated and alienated" her/him from other students. They then moved the child to another school to escape the "hostile environment."

Another front of attack by the sodomite lobby is called ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. If passed by the legislature it would add "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" to the list of protected categories that an employer cannot consider when hiring, firing or promoting someone. The bill supposedly contains a "church exemption," thus not forcing churches to hire someone who does not hold the church's biblical values. But what about Christian publishers, gospel bookstores, missions organizations, etc.?

If ENDA passes into law, it would be administered by the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. President Obama's nominee to sit on the EOEC is Chai Feldblum, an open lesbian and Georgetown law professor. When asked about employers considering religious beliefs when hiring, she replied, "Gays win; Christians lose!"

Another goal of the homosexual lobby is the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). This law, enacted in the mid 1990s, states that marriage must only be between a man and a woman. This is the main block against legal acceptance of same-sex marriage nationwide. If it falls, all states will have to honor such marriages performed in other states.

As mentioned in a previous Battle Cry about the judge's ruling against the Christian Legal Society at Hastings Law School, other universities are pressuring Christian clubs on campus to stop "discriminating" against homosexuals by refusing to allow them to be leaders in their clubs. Also, other states are following California's lead in mandating the teaching that same-sex marriage is just an alternate life style.

Until the last quarter century, our laws agreed with the Bible that sodomy was a "preferred" behavior that people chose to do. Now, they have succeeded in selling the lie that they were born with a same-sex "orientation." This makes them eligible for special "civil rights," just like people who were born black. Using the anti-discrimination laws, they are claiming all kinds of benefits and protections for their sinful lifestyle.

Chick Publications has tried to warn against this abomination with tracts and books exposing these lies and stressing God's viewpoint. Our newest tract, Uninvited, shows how Satan uses his devils to seduce people into this sinful lifestyle. But Jesus has power even over this demonic spirit.

Conclusion: Little space is provided for your answers, but it's much more than needed. If you followed the instructions above, you not only failed the test, you receive a big goose egg.

It is actually advertised as the "inerrant word of God" in Niagara Frontier Bible Church's "welcome pamphlet," of Lewiston, NY, the church to which Debbie Prohaska goes, she who "studied about the bible versions!"

The New International Version first came out in 1973.

Then it was "revised" in 1978.

Then it was revised AGAIN in 1984!

Then, I believe, AGAIN, in 2001.

Calling it revised got old, so in 2005 they called it the Today's New International Version!

AWESOME, ISN'T IT?

In its "A Word to the Reader," it assures the reader:

"There is a sense in which the work of translating the bible is never finished This very fact has prompted the committee to engage in an ongoing review of the text of the NIV with the assistance of many other scholars. The chief goal of this review has always been to bring the text of the NIV abreast of contemporary biblical scholarship and of shifts of English idiom and usage. Already in 1978 and again in 1984 various corrections and revisions to the NIV text were made. In the TNIV the committee offers to the reading public the latest fruits of its review."


We all know that in the NIV Matthew 17:21 is omitted but found in the footnotes of the NIV, but, in the TNIV Matthew 17:21 is nowhere to be found!!

It goes on to state:

"Mark 16:9-20 and John 7:53, 8:11, although long accorded virtually equal status with the rest of the gospels in which they stand, have a very questionable-and confused-standing in the textual history of the NT as noted in the bracketed annotations in which they are set up.

"The Committee has again been reminded that every human effort is flawed-including this revision of the NIV. We trust, however, that many will find in it an improved representation of the word of God, through which they fear his call to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and service in his kingdom."

Christmas evangelism idea for your church or for yourself

or for yourself!

When the program ends...

will they remember the message?

Many churches invest a great deal of time and expense in putting on a Christmas program. For some, it's a children's program. For others, it's a play showing the Christmas story. Many moms and dads and grandparents who don't regularly attend church will be there to see their children perform. This is a great time to share God's love with them.

But when they go home, will they remember the message? Will they take a clear explanation of the Gospel along that can continue to deal with their hearts? They will if you give each person attending your Christmas program a Chick tract.

Have the children stand at the back door and pass out these "Christmas cards" to everyone as they leave. Since you know that Chick tracts get read, you can be confident that the message will be delivered to each person. And God's Word never returns void. It always deals with people.

Distribute these also at Christmas office parties!


Give them out at the shopping malls!

This is the greatest time of year to share the greatest story ever told. This time of year, many hearts are softer and more receptive to the gospel. Let's use this once-a-year chance to share Jesus with the lost.

While shopping, give Chick tracts to:
