Welcome to Germany: 20 Armed Police And Social Workers Forcibly Take Children From Parents For Homeschooling

How long before we have this here, in the USA?
20 Armed Police And Social Workers Forcibly Take Children From Parents For Homeschooling Posted 6 hours ago by Dave Jolly filed under Christianity, Education, Email Featured, Family, Government Control, Homeschool, Politics, World News 17 Share72 Tweet11 3 Share137 Dirk and Petra Wunderlich have four children ranging in age from 7 to 14. As parents, they have been homeschooling their kids for the past couple of years because they don’t want them indoctrinated with the government propaganda. This Thursday at 8 a.m., their kids had just begun their lessons for the day when their house was stormed by 20 armed police, special government agents and social workers. The children were captured and taken away. Dirk and Petra were told that they would not be seeing their children anytime soon. The only charge made against the parents was that they defied federal law that required all kids to attend government run public schools. In fact, the government felt so strongly about what the Wunderlich family was doing that a judge signed the order to forcibly take the children and if necessary to use force against the kids if they resisted. The Wunderlich family lives in Darmstadt, Germany. When Hitler was in control of the country he made a law that required all children to attend the government run public schools. That law has never been repealed and the German government is starting to enforce it force if necessary. The Homes School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is a worldwide organization who had been working with the Wunderlich family and their homeschooling needs. After the incident on Thursday, HSLDA contacted the parents and reported: “Citing the parents’ failure to cooperate ‘with the authorities to send the children to school,’ the judge also authorized the use of force ‘against the children’ … reasoning that such force might be required because the children had ‘adopted the parents’ opinions’ regarding homeschooling and that ‘no cooperation could be expected’ from either the parents or the children.” Dirk told HSLDA: “I looked through a side window and saw many people, police and special agents, all armed. They told me they wanted to come in to speak with me. I tried to ask questions, but within seconds, three police officers brought a battering ram and were about to break the door in, so I opened it.” “The police shoved me into a chair and wouldn’t let me even make a phone call at first. It was chaotic as they told me they had an order to take the children. At my slightest movement the agents would grab me, as if I were a terrorist. You would never expect anything like this to happen in our calm, peaceful village. It was like a scene out of a science fiction movie. Our neighbors and children have been traumatized by this invasion.” Michael Farris, Founder of HSLDA explained how the German government is wrong, saying: “The right to homeschool is a human right, and so is the right to freely move and to leave a country. Germany has grossly violated these rights of this family.” “This latest act of seizing these four beautiful innocent children is an outrageous act of a rogue nation.” “Germany is a party to numerous human rights treaties that recognize the right of parents to provide an education distinct from the public schools so that children can be educated according to the parents’ religious convictions.” “Germany has simply not met its obligations under these treaties or as a liberal democracy. HSLDA and I will do whatever we can to help this family regain custody of their children and ensure that they are safe from this persecution. This case demonstrates conclusively why the Romeike asylum case is so important. Families in Germany need a safe place where they can educate their children in peace.” As Farris noted, this is why the Romeike family sought asylum in the US. If you recall, an immigration judge granted them asylum in 2010, but the Obama administration pushed to have the asylum overturned and the family deported back to Germany. If that happens, they will face the same thing that just happened to the Wunderlich family and their kids will be forcibly taken from them and they’ll never know when they will ever get to see them again. Oh yeah, don’t’ forget that Obama just let 1 million illegals stay in the country in defiance of federal immigration laws, but he is fighting hard to send one Christian family back to certain government persecution just because they want to homeschool. If given the chance, I believe that Obama would abolish homeschooling in the US as well and mandate that every child attend the government run indoctrination centers known public schools. He cares nothing about parental rights or the rights of Christians. All he cares about is his own self and propagating his socialist agenda. At 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013, in what has been called a "brutal and vicious act," a team of 20 social workers, police officers, and special agents stormed a homeschooling family's residence near Darmstadt, Germany, forcibly removing all four of the family's children (ages 7-14). The sole grounds for removal were that the parents, Dirk and Petra Wunderlich, continued to homeschool their children in defiance of a German ban on home education.

"I looked through a window and saw many people, police, and special agents, all armed," he said. "They told me they wanted to come in to speak with me. I tried to ask questions, but within seconds, three police officers brought a battering ram and were about to break the door in, so I opened it.
"The police shoved me into a chair and wouldn't let me even make a phone call at first. It was chaotic as they told me they had an order to take the children. At my slightest movement the agents would grab me as if I were a terrorist. You would never expect anything like this to happen in our calm, peaceful village. It was like a scene out of a science fiction movie. Our neighbors and children have been traumatized by this invasion."

Wunderlich said that his 14-year-old daughter Machsejah had to be forcibly taken out of the home.
"When I went outside, our neighbor was crying as she watched," he said. "I turned around to see my daughter being escorted as if she were a criminal by two big policemen. They weren't being nice at all. When my wife tried to give my daughter a kiss and a hug goodbye, one of the special agents roughly elbowed her out of the way and said, 'It's too late for that.' What kind of government acts like this?"
After the children were taken away, the family was asked to attend a meeting with the senior social authority in charge at the scene. The Wunderlichs agreed to the meeting and were joined by their attorney, Andreas Vogt, who came as soon as he was notified, traveling hours by train to attend.

When the parents asked when they could seek a hearing to contest the seizure of their children, they were told they would have to wait until the regular judge returned from vacation. Vogt told Home School Legal Defense Association that the authorities had displayed little sympathy.

HSLDA obtained and translated the court documents that authorized this use of force to seize the children. The only legal grounds for removal were the family's continuation of homeschooling their children. The papers contain no other allegations of abuse or neglect. Moreover, Germany has not even alleged educational neglect for failing to provide an adequate education.

Judge Koenig, a Darmstadt family court judge, signed the order authorizing the immediate seizure of Dirk and Petra Wunderlich's children on August 28. Citing the parents' failure to cooperate "with the authorities to send the children to school," the judge also authorized the use of force "against the children" if necessary, reasoning that such force might be required because the children had "adopted the parents' opinions" regarding homeschooling and that "no cooperation could be expected" from either the parents or the children.

HSLDA Chairman Michael Farris said Germany has continued to show its disregard for the human right to homeschool. "Germany has grossly violated the rights of this family," he said. "This latest act of seizing these four beautiful, innocent children is an outrageous act of a rogue nation."

The right of parents to decide how children are educated is a human right of the highest order, said Farris.

"The United States Constitution is not alone in upholding the right of parents to decide how to educate their children," Farris said. "Germany is a party to numerous human rights treaties that recognize the right of parents to provide an education distinct from the public schools so that children may be educated according to the parents' religious convictions. Germany has simply not met its obligations under these treaties or as a liberal democracy. HSLDA and I will do whatever we can to help this family regain custody of their children and ensure that they are safe from this persecution. This case demonstrates conclusively why the Romeike asylum case is so important. Families in Germany need a safe place where they can educate their children in peace."

The Wunderlich family has faced their share of problems in trying to homeschool their children. In October 2012, state youth officials were granted formal legal custody of the Wunderlich children by a German court based solely on the fact that the family was homeschooling, but the ruling was forestalled by Vogt. Over the past four years, HSLDA has reported on the Wunderlich family as they have moved from country to country in the European Union looking for a place to call home where they could freely homeschool their children. Although they found refuge from homeschool persecution, Mr. Wunderlich was unable to find work, and last year the family had to return to Germany. At their return, the children's passports were seized to ensure they couldn't flee the country again.

Following the raid, Dirk Wunderlich told Mike Donnelly, HSLDA Director for International Affairs, that he and his wife were devastated.

"These are broken people," Donnelly said. "They said they felt like they were being ground into dust. They were shaken to their core and shocked by the event. But they also told me that they had followed their conscience and the dictates of their faith. Although they don't have much faith in the German state, they have a lot of faith in God. They are an inspiring and courageous family.

"I've been fighting for German homeschool freedom for years," he continued, "and I had hoped that things were changing in Germany since it has been some time since brutality of this magnitude has occurred. But I was wrong."

Petra Wunderlich said her heart was shattered. "We are empty," she said. "We need help. We are fighting but we need help."

HSLDA has today begun a nationwide campaign to urge American homeschoolers to call the German embassy and its consular offices in the United States to protest this blatant violation of Germany's human rights commitments.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!

.
PLEASE STAY SAFE!
DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

The Two Glasses

There sat two glasses, filled to the brim,
On a rich man's table, rim to rim.
One was ruddy and red as blood,
And one was clear as the crystal flood.

Said the glass of wine to his paler brother,
"Let us tell tales of the past to each other;
I can tell of banquet, and revel, and mirth,
Where I was a king, for I ruled in might;
For the proudest and grandest souls on earth
Fell under my touch, as though struck with blight.
From the heads of kings I have torn the crown;
From the heights of fame I have hurled men down.
I have blasted many an honored name;
I have taken virtue and given shame;
I have tempted the youth with a sip, a taste,
That has made his future a barren waste.
Far greater than any king am I,
Or than any army beneath the sky.
I have made the arm of the driver fail,
And sent the train from the iron rail.
I have made good ships go down at sea,
And the shrieks of the lost were sweet to me.
Fame, strength, wealth, genius before me fall;

 For my might and power are over all
Ho, ho! pale brother," said the wine,

Can you boast of deeds as great as mine?"

Said the water-glass: "I cannot boast
Of a king dethroned, or a murdered host,
But I can tell of hearts that were sad
By my crystal drops made bright and glad;
Of thirsts I have quenched, and brows I have laved;
Of hands I have cooled, and souls I have saved.
I have leaped through the valley, dashed down the mountain,
Slept in the sunshine, and dripped from the fountain.
I have burst my cloud-fetters, and dropped from the sky,
And everywhere gladdened the prospect and eye;
I have eased the hot forehead of fever and pain;
I have made the parched meadows grow fertile with grain.
I can tell of the powerful wheel of the mill,
That ground out the flour, and turned at my will.
I can tell of manhood debased by you,
That I have uplifted and crowned anew;
I cheer, I help, I strengthen and aid;
I gladden the heart of man and maid;
I set the wine-chained captive free,
And all are better for knowing me."

These are the tales they told each other,
The glass of wine and its paler brother,
As they sat together, filled to the brim,
On a rich man's table, rim to rim.

"CHURCH AGE" versus "AGE OF GRACE"

.
August 14, 2013 Overview of Ephesians by Pastor Tom Bruscha of Grace Bible Church, Warren, MI.

http://www.rightlydividing.org/biblemp3/After%20Acts%20-%...

This was last Wednesday night's study, which I had to hear again, for it touches on the subject of NOT calling this a "church age," but "The Age of Grace," which Bapt
ists seem to be quite reluctant to use. Such claim that "grace" there was throughout the ages. They also, continually, seem to have us, the body of Christ, all over the place, to include, New Jerusalem! WRONG!

Here what a wonderful brother to whom I posed the question responded, today:

My explanation for why we shouldn't call this time period the "church age" is this.

The word church basically means, a called out group/assembly. If you look at:

Act 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sinai, and [with] our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:
we see that the word church is NOT specific to the body of Christ. Here the word is clearly speaking about Israel in the wilderness. Once we can brake our thinking that the word "church" always means us, then we can see that there are different churches shown in the Bible. Today, God is saving people into the body of Christ.

In
Act 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
we see that before Paul (and after Israel wandering in the wilderness) there was a church. But again, this church which had just witnessed the Holy Ghost coming down, was STILL led by the 12 apostles (12 because they will sit on 12 thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel).

Today, the church we are apart of is the church, the BODY of Christ, which gets its instructions from Paul the apostle.

Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
This church is not the church which the 12 apostles were responsible for with a destination of earth.

Our church today, for those who have accepted the free gift available to all men by the cross, is called the body of Christ and Paul said he is the chief of those (before) sinners that Christ came to save. In him are we to see the pattern for suffering for Christ's sake AND by his strength alone. We sit in heavenly places in Christ, not on earth.

1Ti 1:15 This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1Ti 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
So, in summary I see AT LEAST 3 churches in the Bible. 1- wilderness, 2- early Acts Israel-kingdom believers, 3- today's church: the body of Christ. Therefore, saying this is the "church age" is problematic... Which church?

I hope this helps. Let me know if want more clarification of how I see this issue.

In Christ,

Pete Boucher

Isn't it simply AWESOME, that a brother can give such a response, on the spur of the moment? This is what happens, when it is the preaching gotten by such as Pete Boucher, has been always scriptural and marvelously detailed, as is the preaching by Pastor Tom Bruscha of Grace Bible Church, Warren, MI.

I am so very thankful to God, that He as directed me to such edifying instruction!

  • Helga Hickman How appropriately this be an overview of Ephesians, where we also find:

    Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
    Ephesians 6:16 (King James Bible)
  • Helga Hickman Not that the Baptist be wicked, just woefully misled, since it is they not divide the word of God:

    Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
    a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
    rightly dividing the word of truth.

    2 Timothy 2:15 (King James Bible)

    They need keep in mind WE ARE NOT PROPHECY!
    WE ARE THE MYSTERY of which Paul speaks:

    7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

    8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
    1 Corinthians 2:7-8
  • Helga Hickman Yesterday, I heard a sermon given by Bryan Denlinger about the "Marriage supper of the Lamb," which is TOTALLY WRONG!

    Since WE are a mystery, WE ARE NOT FOUND IN THE GOSPELS OF MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN, which is where he reaches for verses. He m
    entions us being "prophecy!" He calls this the "church age," YET, he also mentions the dispensations. He does not claim to be a Baptist, but a Baptist upbringing he had, and it shows! He is young, and still learning, which he also admits in the same sermon.

    Bryan Denlinger has done some very good studies, but he is a bit mixed up regarding what we are, i.e., the body of Christ, and where we will be in future, in heaven, and NOT New Jerusalem! New Jerusalem is for the Jews!

Independent Fundamental Baptist Catholicism by Bryan Denlinger

.
Is it possible that Independent Fundamental Baptists have elevated unscriptural traditions ABOVE the King James Bible?
YES!!!

It began with water baptism, for which I was unceremoniously UNfriended by some "devout" Baptists on Facebook, who first attempted to show me the error of my ways, of course! Now, it seems, I am after the Baptists, for I am appalled that they parrot that man is saved by faith alone, nevertheless, water baptism IS A MUST!

NO IT IS NOT!  I am still listening to this series, and am hoping that Bryan Denlinger touches on this. Even if he does not, such is NOT scriptural. Water baptism was preached by Jesus and the apostles DURING HIS LIFETIME, and was meant for the Jews, the purpose for which Christ came to earth.

It was ONLY after his death, burial and resurrection that Christ sought to give Paul the gospel of grace, to us ward!

WE MUST DIVIDE THE WORD OF GOD, PROPERLY!

1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Matthew 15:L1-6 (King James Bible)

This is the first part of our study on the history of the IFB system. Part 3.

Here is the link to the PDF document for this sermon:

The PDF is near the bottom of the page.

Ha! It seems this three-part installment is just the beginning! Good!

And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:
Acts 5:38 (King James Bible)

Believers persecuted by apostate church in which "Christians" promote pagan rituals by Pastor Tom Bruscha

.
This is an incredibly fascinating series! A real must-watch for anyone who wishes to learn true church history.

At the rate I am going, I shall never finish hearing these, for here I am, again, listening to the same segment, again!

Here we see all the perverted superstitions and rituals introduced into the apostate church of Constantine, aka, the Roman Catholic Church, perverts the word of God and continues its persecution of true Christians.

Paganism is rampant in Brazil, where they have "Spiritism" mixed in with the Catholic religion! It is utterly sickening, and the priests say not one thing!

Persecution by the Roman Empire Leading up to Dominance of the Roman Catholic church by Pastor Tom Bruscha

.
This is a most fascinating series, to which I am listening from the start, but, from which I detach these two videos, that speak to the start of the Roman Catholic Church, in the year 312, through Constantine, and not a day sooner, contrary to the fable disseminated by the Vatican through the centuries.  In their favor was the extreme power they held, at a time when the press was non-existent.

This to be the biggest fraud ever perpetrated upon anyone, ever!

I am making use of items, scripture verses, I wrote while hearing the study.

2 Timothy must have been written in 66 AD.
Paul's gospel had reached as far as England for some 20 years by then!

Here Paul prepares Timothy for a time of hardship.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Thou therefore endure hardness,
as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 2:3

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2 Timothy 3:12

6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 (King James Bible)

Persecution by the Roman Empire

  • Helga Hickman What do you know: The LATIN Bible existed well before Jerome got in the picture, hundreds of years, later!
  • Helga Hickman Polycarp refusing to recant by saying: "Eighty and six years have I served Him, my Lord. He has never done me wrong! How can I blaspheme him, my King, who has saved me. I am a Christian!"

    He requested he not be tied: "Leave me thus!" He didn't move, while burning!

    "The Lord God Almighty, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. I praise thee that thou hast judged me worthy of this day, and of this hour, to participate in the number of witnesses and in the cup of thy Christ."
  • Helga Hickman Jesus' attitude toward the scriptures tells us he regarded them as THE WORD OF GOD!
  • Helga Hickman Philippians 1:1
    Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:
  • Helga Hickman Acts 20:
    17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
    28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
  • Helga Hickman And thus we got our "papa," who just yesterday claimed he cannot judge a sodomite!
  • Helga Hickman WOW! This was another PHENOMENAL segment! Thank you, Pastor Tom, for so much marvelous teaching that you do!

14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:14-16 (King James Bible)

Leading up to Dominance of the Roman Catholic church

  • Helga Hickman wow! Here we have the Council of Ephesus where the depravity of man was the topic, concern to extend to the salvation of babies, through baptism, of course! Oh, my!

    Well, as Pastor says, he trusts not these Councils of the time, albeit some good and bad was gotten!
  • Helga Hickman Had to listen to this again! It is an awesome study of how the Roman Catholic church began, in 312, and not a day sooner!
