Biblical Hermeneutics: "The infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture is Scripture itself!" by Pastor Chuck Petersen

It is just imperative that I post this again for its grave importance! Having awakened at 4:00 this morning, in viewing this blog stats I saw that someone had viewed this post. I listened to the two sermons again, which are so very good, and very important for every true Christian to properly know about Biblical Hermeneutics, a subject that fascinates me, about which I first learned from the debate Dr. Peter Ruckman had with Karl Keating, and later through Pastor Chuck Petersen.

Sadly, it is a subject of which no other pastor have I heard speak!
A real shame, for there is so much to be learned through it!

Please click on the links to listen to the great sermons:

The people of God need a proper understanding of scripture to counteract false doctrine from within and false philosophies without.

The Consequences of Poor Biblical Hermeneutics

Chuck Petersen | Consequence, Poor HermeneuticsRipley Primitive Baptist
The consequences of Eve's poor biblical hermeneutic had far-reaching consequences. The Bible is replete with examples of what happens when people fail to interpret and apply the word of God correctly. It is incumbent upon ALL Christians to study their Bibles and be able to combat error therewith.

Biblical Hermeneutics: "The infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture is Scripture itself!"

When some months ago I watched a debate between Dr. Peter Ruckman and Karl Keating, the RC apologist, I saw just how assiduously Dr. Ruckman consistently used Scripture to validate Scripture! I was deeply impressed and fascinated by it!

Finally, I have thought to place something about it on my blog! This is an incredibly important issue which Christians should observe!

Know that the corrupt versions cannot back this concept, proving further, as if it were needed, that the King James Bible is the true word of God!

¹Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

nor standeth in the way of sinners,

nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

²But his delight is in the law of the LORD;

and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

³And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,

that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;

his leaf also shall not wither;

and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

⁴The ungodly are not so:

but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

⁵Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,

nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

⁶For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous:

but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1 (King James Bible)

Psalm 1 is, truly, the encapsulation of what a Christian's life should be!

"The infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture is Scripture itself!"

Karl Keating, a Catholic apologist, Debates a Baptist Preacher

AH! But this is no ordinary preacher!!

This is Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, himself!!

OH! What pride one feels in watching this "Bible-toting preacher" who KNOWS THE WORD OF GOD, and DELIVERS IT WITH SURGICAL PRECISION!!

Poor Mr. Keating sounds like a blade of grass wavering in the wind, his voice LITERALLY QUIVERING, most uncertain of what he says, giving the MOST DISPARATE EXAMPLES AND ANALOGIES, and repeating in AN EQUALLY UNDIGNIFIED MANNER that "everyone knows it"!
Really? Is that why these Catholics have so many doubts?
It is truly physically painful to listen to his pathetic rambling!

Other than instructional, I found these videos hilarious for the image it presented to me of Mr. Karl Keating: that of a dog going in circles, chasing his own tail! And, of course, he had no need for a Bible: HE HAD HIS NOTES!!

Notice, PARTICULARLY, how it is that Dr. Ruckman, STRICTLY USES SCRIPTURE TO COMPARE TO SCRIPTURE! As commanded in Scripture!

Acts 17:10-12 (King James Bible)

¹⁰ And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
¹¹ These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
¹² Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

THANK YOU, MY GREAT GOD, THAT YOU SHOULD PROVIDE AMUSEMENT ALSO!!

I literally have tears in my eyes just recalling listening to this "debate!"

Please, Catholics, listen well: You tell me just who it is that truly exemplifies that which the word of God demands?!

Listen to the response when someone points out that Mr. Keating does not have a Bible.

Listen to where you may find a Bible in the Catholic Church: the rectory! Gathering dust on a shelf, I have no doubt!

"COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues!" Revelation 18

Notice where at 53 minutes of the second part, a PURPOSEFUL change from what the Bible truly says is made to accommodate the "Catholic view!"
