Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon, a warrior for the word of God, as given us in the King James Bible, our FINAL AUTHORITY!

Oh! I have a grin from ear to ear while writing this! There are people with whom fools should not tangle, regarding the TRUE word of God, as given us in the King James Bible for the English-speaking peoples of the world! One such person is Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon, whose powerful rebuttal such fools could never survive! Oh! The word of God is, indeed, her armour!

I am posting this also on my blog, where it will be better presented!

Print this out and keep it in your Bible!

The "originals" lol. You're kidding right? Do you know what the word "Scripture" even means Darrin? The Bible defines it's own words, and Matthew 22:29-31 defines the word "scripture": : Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scripture nor the power of God....have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God..." Scripture refers to the words written down that were spoken by God. You say like many other people who do not understand that only the original autographs were inspired, and that copies made from these originals contain errors and are not reliable...that is a LIE! This is what you are claiming when you attack the KJB. The scriptures do tell us that the original manuscripts were inspired. But God also had His people make FAITHFUL COPIES of these original manuscripts to keep His perfect words available to man FOREVER! Check for yourself! You can find the word "scripture" in 53 verses of the Bible. Not ONE of them EVER refers to the "original." Each is referring to COPIES. God calls those copies "scripture."

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Look at Luke 4:16-21: "And he began to say unto them, This day os the Scripture fulfilled in your ears." Christ read from the book of Isaiah . And He called the COPY that He read from "scripture," the words of God.

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Read John 5:39: Search the SCRIPTURES; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." Why would Jesus tell them "Search the Scriptures" if they did not have them? Remember, these "scriptures" were copies of the originals.

During His ministry Jesus never read the originals. He only read copies. But He called those copies Scriptures. And they were EXACT copies of God's actual words. Jesus never pointed out a single error in them. If anyone would know, it would be God's own Son! He's the One who spoke those very words to His prophets in the first place! For copies to be scripture, they need to be perfect. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says that all scripture was given to us by God. The scripture is the work of God. And God's work is PERFECT (Deuteronomy 32:4).

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Christ knew the scriptures didn't contain errors because He is God and God knows everything. (Colossians 2:2-3) If Jesus knew the scriptures contained errors, He wouldn't cover them up, because He is God, and God is holy, trustworthy and righteous. God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Christ used copies of the scripture. He knew those copies were perfect. Christ used ALL, not just SOME, of the scriptures. This shows His confidence that God's words were preserved. Eact copies are the preserved words of God.

The Bible is CLEAR. Trustworthy copies of God's Words are called Scripture over and over again and again. Every bible out there with the exception of the King James Bible was translated by Dynamic equivalence (what they think God meant) instead of by Formal equivalence (What God really said= the very words and each and every word). The men who translated the manuscripts of the KJB knew that EVERY WORD is important, so they made sure to clearly and carefully translate every word.

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Who is in charge of preserving here? God or man? "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. (psalms 12:6-7)

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon ‎"For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven." (Psalm 119:89). "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." (1 Peter 1:25).

OH!! WHAT POWERFUL REBUTTAL YOU GIVE!
      AWESOME!!

Again, I am going to ask for your permission to copy this whole thread and place it in a note on my page!!

So nice to see you here being active again, dear sister Adrienne!
I was going to stop by the other day when I saw you, but got distracted! Old age does that to me!! Ha Ha! And it is NOT funny!!

      Which reminds me:

A priest anxious to be sure this old matron's wealth would be left to the church coaxed her saying: "You know! You are getting up in age! You need to be thinking aboaut the hereafter!"

The old lady replied: "Father, I am always thinking of the 'here after!' Just yesterday I came down, opened the refrigerator and said to myself: what am I here after?"

      Ha Ha Ha!

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon ‎"Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever." (Isaiah 30:8) God promised to preseve His Words without loss or error!

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Oh Sis...that was a good one! Are you sure that you weren't joking about me lol! Thanks for lightening the mood! You do not ever need my permission to use anything. You may use anything at all~ Love you so much! XOXOXOXOXOX ♥

(Matthew 5:18, 24:35,Mark 13;31, Luke 21;33). WELL.... God PROMISED TO PRESERVE HIS WORDS FOR EVER. And....He promised that Not ONE single LETTER would even be lost! Is God able to keep His promise?

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon Thank you! My husband and I will be home together tomorrow for a change. Well, he has to work but is coming home early at 10:00 am! This will be such a treat. What did I do to deserve such great friends? God is so good! Thanks, I really appreciate this!

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon There are so many SCRIPTURES that show how God preserved His words. It is such a shame that the strongest adversaries seems to come from Christians who doubt, attack and pervert the words of the living God. What an awful sin and shame.

    • Helga Hickman Oh! My dearest! You are a real sweetheart! I have missed you here, yet, admire your ability to have been able to stay away for a while, as you said you would!

Oh! I pray you have a wonderful time tomorrow, and enjoy your time with your husband! He has a real jewel for a wife!

May God bless you and yours, always and profusely!

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon
God also preserved His Words in books! "Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee." (Deuteronomy 31:26). "Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book." (Jeremiah 30:2). "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." (Revelation 1:11)

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon ‎"And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a COPY of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites." (Deuteronomy 17:18)

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon As you can CLEARLY see, God preserved His words by having His people make FAITHFUL copies of them. Even the King of Israel had to make His own copy of Moses' writings! Um, hello? Amen!

    • Helga Hickman Ha Ha Ha! Amen, indeed!! You have provided a wealth of verses here! I am not only going to place this thread on my page, I am going to place it on my blog, also!
Great verses to which to refer, time and again!
      Thank you, so very much!

    • Adrienne Villegas-Kenyon You are very welcome, Doll! Thank you so much for the awesome video and audio sermon links...I thank God for you! Blessings to you and your dear family...Muah!

The fact that it is the English Bible does not make it any less the Words of God than what Paul held in his hand. What a subtle attack that is! If Paul spoke in Aramaic, and it was translated into Koine Greek, and it was translated into the English King James Bible, today we still have the very Words of God. Those who mock are either ignorant of preserved inspiration; or they are on purpose attempting to lead you astray. This is a subtle attack to bring into play the corrupted Alexandrian Texts. Either the Words of God are the same as in the Apostle Paul's day or we do not have preserved inspiration.

    • Helga Hickman
Indeed! Amen!! And, as you say, these attacks come from those who call themselves Christian!

With friends like these, who needs enemies?!

He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words,
hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken,
the same shall judge him in the last day.
      John 12:48

As per this "corrector" above, I suppose he has not trouble comparing with the ESV which among others states Jesus is NOT God in Philippians 2:6!

(A)who, though he was in (B)the form of God, did not count equality with God (C)a thing to be grasped,
      .

While our trusted King James Bible gives Christ His due:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
      Philippians 2:6

Amen Sis, so true! Sadly, you are correct in your assumption of this person. Jesus said, "He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth." (Luke 11:23). Truly these kind of lukewarm Christians must taste repulsive in the Lord's mouth to put it mildly. Get off the fence already! This is the second person today that told me that they were a King James person and then attacked the Word of God as best as they could. It is one way or the other and it is best if they just get off the fence!
