A little leaven,... leaveneth the whole lump! Galatians 5:9

I am certain, by now, there are many who wonder why is it that I don't mind my own business, and "let others be!"

As usual, although it is that I absolutely cannot recall chapter and verse of most any Holy Scripture, I KNOW that common sense alone dictates that which God always provides for me to give as a response. HE did so, again, this morning, Sunday, December 13, in the sermon I heard given by Dr. James Boyce, through the following verse:

Obadiah 1:11
On the day that you stood aloof,
On the day that strangers carried off his wealth,
And foreigners entered his gate
And cast lots for Jerusalem--
You too were as one of them.

There is a beautiful and very emotional poem I kept right in my china cabinet, also very apropos:

Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

As I state in my RainhadoCanto4 Christian Channel, I feel it is the responsibility of every True Christian to do exactly that which Jesus has commanded: to spread the WORD OF GOD!

Should I have stayed quiet after reading that which Timmo wrote, would have implied that I agree with it! I do not! Silence is acquiescence, and to not correct such gross statements as he made would be wrong! I sincerely pray he does not mean what he said!

Right from its incipience there were those who sought to "modify," "embellish," add and subtract from the perfect Sacrifice Our Lord and Savior had made for us.



Back on March 19, 2009, I had posted the following comments in the above video that are very relevant to this my subject. Because comments got so out of hand, TheLORDismySheperd1 found it necessary to disable such, but, I had mine saved, previously:

Time and again, throughout the Old Testament, we see God making Covenants with His people, Covenants His people would never keep.
Finally, it was He sent His Only Begotten Son to make restitution,
ONCE FOR ALL!!

Here, as the Roman Catholics like to believe, Jesus claimed that Peter was His rock, a rock that became shaky sand, no less, before and after Christ's Death on the Cross!! Were it to be left up to Peter, Christianity would have vanished right at its start, engulfed by the LAWS of Judaism, to which he had shamelessly succumbed, FAITH to play no part in it! (Peter was thoroughly scolded by Paul about this: Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.)

Thus, again God reaches out to us, and Jesus calls upon Paul to rescue His people!! Were it not for Paul, I do believe we would not have any True Christians at all to carry on the task of Evangelizing HIS WORD!

Paul was a true LION OF GOD, who was UNWAVERING in keeping that which Jesus had commanded him, Himself! A murderous avowed enemy of Christ, who was swallowed up by the irrefutable proof that Christ RESURRECTED, LIVED AND LIVES FOREVER!

Most of the New Testament is God-inspired through Paul's unshakable testimony!


I beg those who be Roman Catholic to please not take offense, but, read on with an open mind, trusting that in no way is anything said to hurt you. I wish someone had cared to do so for me, though I know a few who more than had the opportunity to have done so,... but did not.

Perhaps, then, I would not live today wondering about the salvation of my son, whom I raised in the Roman Catholic faith, in Roman Catholic School through Grade Six, religiously attending Mass, for which he was an Altar Boy, all through to the Sacrament of Confirmation, never missing the weekly Catechism studies. We never opened a Bible. Never! Except, of course, for the obligatory Children's Bible every child gets, I suspect.

I even sought to send him to Niagara Catholic High School, except, when it was that we received his curriculum after having enrolled him, Bryan was horrified at having to repeat courses he had already taken in the 8th Grade, he always having been in the Regents Accelerated Program, always having been on the coveted Dean's List.

I could not afford to have my son's intelligence be wasted in boredom. Thus he went to the Niagara Falls High School, after much soul-searching and great advice from the Assistant Principal who knew Bryan, a step we never regretted, for my son thrived through the wonderfully challenging education offered by some of the best teachers ever.

PLEASE, there is no "Catholic Bashing" to be found here. Simply enlightening through the WORD OF GOD! Not through my words, but through the experience and example of many who have traveled very far to get where they are in their lives, a most torturous venture that tested one's spirit to the edge. I was there. I know just how it was for me to learn the raw truth. And worse, yet, to learn it so late in life, where I had not the ability to, perhaps, save my son.

The Bible often warns us to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. The Roman Catholic Church to be one such wolf. Not the Catholics, but their leadership.

From the depths of my soul I pray that God bless everyone who is willing to be so tested.

The payoff could be their own salvation!

MARY

The Holy Scriptures placed in the proper perspective by Jesus Christ:

27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.


How Mary regarded herself:

Luke 1:46-49 (King James Version)
46 And Mary said, "My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47 "And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48 "For He hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49 "For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name." "IN GOD MY SAVIOR!!" SHE SAID!! She was aware of her sinful state and recognized she needed a SAVIOR!!


She had other children:

Matthew 1:24-25 (King James Version)
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.


Just what part of "KNEW HER NOT TILL" does the Roman Catholic Church not understand??

"TILL," for AFTERWARDS : Jesus' brothers are mentioned in several Bible verses, just as the video shows!!



She was a derelict parent: She LOST HER CHILD!
This is a SIN OF NEGLIGENCE!! Proves her to be just as humanly sinful as we are.

Luke 2:43 (King James Version)
43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.



Mary LIED: Mary was BLASPHEMOUS!

Luke 2:48-49 (King James Version)
48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, "Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing."
49 And He said unto them, "How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?"

She just told Him that Joseph was His father!! A LIE!! A BLASPHEMY!



SHE HAD TO BE PURIFIED:

Luke 2:22 (King James Version)
22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;


Jesus ceased to regard Mary as his mother! He was now devoted to saving us through His Sacrifice:

Matthew 12:47-49 (King James Version)
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But He answered and said unto him that told him, "Who is My mother? and who are My brethren?"
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, "Behold my mother and my brethren!"



Jesus NEVER referred to Mary as Mother:

John 2:3-4 (King James Version)
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, "They have no wine."
4 Jesus saith unto her, "Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come."

John 19:26-27 (King James Version)
26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He saith unto His mother, "Woman, behold thy son!"
27 Then saith He to the disciple, "Behold thy mother!" And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.


Subsequently, she is mentioned, in passing, in
Acts 1:13-14 (King James Version),
¹³And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

¹⁴These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

...after which SHE IS HEARD OF NO MORE!!

Mary was merely the mother of His Humanity! She is NOT the mother of God!! She would be horrified at such blasphemy being ascribed to her!! These verses from the Bible testify to the fact the Mary was this beautiful and good, young and innocent girl with whom God was very much pleased, and chose her to bear His Only Begotten Son, as it had been foretold by the prophets of old!!

HE was better pleased with her than Zacharias, who doubted the Angel's prophecy, and was silenced until the birth of John, the Baptist, as punishment.

Mary doubted not! Zacharias was a priest who should have known better! The miracle performed through Mary to be so much more bewildering, and she being so young!

She was an ordinary, BORN WITH SIN AS WE ALL ARE, as stated in the Bible that ONLY JESUS WAS BORN WITHOUT SIN, and died to be remembered as the most blessed of all women, BUT NOT IMMACULATE; NOT CAPABLE OF MIRACLES, THAT SHE COULD NOT EVEN DO IN LIFE; NOT AN INTERCESSOR!!

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;


NO ONE ELSE!! She has not, nor does she, "APPEAR" at Fatima, Medjugorje, Lourdes, or wherever else SATAN seeks to delude the innocent souls who claim such DEMONIC VISIONS, on which the Roman Catholic Church is ready to capitalize for income-generating purposes!!


NOR WAS SHE ASSUMED INTO HEAVEN!! She lived with John, who was the only surviving Apostle, who went on to write Revelation. John lived into his nineties. Mary surely had died by then. He would have not failed to mention such, had it taken place.

There is a beautiful one-man play made into a movie on the life of John which I pray all would watch! It is extremely entertaining, to say the least!
