The Book of James! Oh! The very excuse cults use and have used for the last 1,700 years to propose their many ordinances, sacraments, you name it, they have come up with it! Nothing but rules and demands that they assure must be kept in order to be saved! This because they shamefully fail to apply 2 Timothy 2:15:
Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 (King James Bible)
How blessed we are today to have to do nothing but believe in the sacrifice of Jesus for the full payment of our sins to be saved, for ever, no ifs or buts about it! For today, praise God, there is neither Jew nor Gentile, all able to avail themselves of such unmerited GRACE, dispensed to us through Paul, chosen of Christ for this purpose!
I just love what I heard Pastor Bruscha say in his Right Division Series:
"Until you die for the Law,
you never live for God!"

"Soteriology" is a series that will cover Salvation through the Bible starting in Genesis and going all the way to the end of Revelations. This series ran from September 2007 to September 2009 and consists of about 100 sermons.
