Lineage of the Modern Corrupt Versions
Compiled by Dr. Ken Matto
Just as the King James Bible has a rich lineage of uncorrupted transmission through the ages, the modern versions also have a lineage. Their lineage is one of corruption, deletion, omission, addition, rejection and confusion. Modern versions are the fruit of arrogant scholarship which includes homosexuals who worked on the NIV. God never calls unbelievers to preach and neither would He call a sodomite to translate His Word.
If your pastor rejects the pure lineage of the King James Bible and accepts the corrupt translations, then he is a proponent of modern scholarship which exalts the god of education above the God of the Bible. They are seriously deceived and are a danger to spiritual growth.
THE OLD TESTAMENT
Rudolph Kittel's Biblical Hebraica**
Dead Sea Scrolls consulted
From the Translator's Preface in the NIV:
"Sometimes a variant Hebrew reading in the margin of the Masoretic Text was followed instead of the text itself."
"The translators also consulted the more important early versions-the Septuagint; Aquila, Symmachus and Theodotion; the Vulgate; The Syriac Peshitta; the Targums; and for the Psalms the Juxta Hebraica of Jerome. Readings from these versions were occasionally followed where the Masoretic Text seemed doubtful and where accepted principles of textual criticism showed that one or more of these textual witnesses appeared to provide the correct reading."
This is known as "eclectic" scholarship. In other words, if I don't like what I read in the manuscripts, there is always another writing by an unbelieving, perverted scholar who will tell me what I want to hear.
**Between 1933 and 1944 Rudolph Kittel had a leadership role in the "Forschungsabteilung Judenfrage" which was a Nazi organization and publication. What a heritage the NIV has, homosexuals and Nazis! Do you still think your NIV is ordained of God? If you do, then you are just plain stupid!

(1) Jay Green's translation is listed here because he, like the modern scholars, disputes whether Acts 8:37 & 1 John 5:7 are really in the text. 1 John 5:7-8 has been found in the Old Latin Vulgate (not Jerome's) and early church lectionaries. Acts 8:37 is found in the Old Latin Vulgate Version, a Middle Egyptian Version and a Syriac Version.

What is it about the Catholic Church that makes you think it's a cult?
ReplyDeleteIt isn't that I think it is a cult, its own profile denounces it as being a cult!
ReplyDeleteCult: Dictionary Definition
The definition of the term ‘cult’ as provided by the Merriam-Webster dictionary covers a variety meanings:
1 : formal religious veneration : worship
2 : a system of religious beliefs and ritual; also : its body of adherents
3 : a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also : its body of adherents
4 : a system for the cure of disease based on dogma set forth by its promulgator
5 a : great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a film or book); especially : such devotion regarded as a literary or intellectual fad
b : the object of such devotion
c : a usually small group of people characterized by such devotion
The above taken from http://cultdefinition.com/
The Roman Catholic Church has a myriad of dogmas and observances and endless repetitive prayers! The making of the sign of the Cross, the talismans collected and worn for "protection," cards with "pictures of saints," the obligatory study of the Catechism! The Scapular! Infant baptism! The absurd following of Mary. I have no doubt there are many more I am not mentioning! The continual killing of Christ on the cross!
He died but once for our sins, RESURRECTED and IS NOW ALIVE!!
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Romans 6:10 (King James Bible)
Read the continual building of the list of Heresies of the Catholic Church through the centuries! It is appalling!
Now more and more charismatic and pagan rituals are being added, such as walking labyrinths and Eastern meditation! THIS IS PAGAN!
Any such are outside the FAITH and BELIEF in Him, and in His word, about which Jesus Himself spoke, is not of Christ. NOTHING ADDITIONAL IS REQUIRED TO BE SAVED!
30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:30-32 (King James Bible)
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Psalm 138:2 (King James Bible)
Look at the "opportunity" Jesus had to exalt His mother, BUT HE DIDN'T DO IT:
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Luke 11:26-28 (King James Bible)
Why didn't Jesus exalt Mary here, when a clear opportunity there was?
NEVER did He even call her "mother!" Can any woman even imagine not being called mother by her own child?
ReplyDeleteNEVER did He make special allowances for her! On the contrary:
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 12:46-50 (King James Bible)
Yet, Roman Catholics go around calling her their mother!! Praying to her!
She was God's creation NOT HIS MOTHER!!
Why do you think the Roman Catholic Church fought so very hard to prevent anyone from reading the Bible, to the extent of murdering men, women and children for a period of 605 years during the Catholic Inquisition in an attempt to EXTERMINATE the existence of the word of God? Why?
Because should you read it you will find there not to be any association between it and the true Christ!
Since they could not succeed in that, they resolved to pervert the word of God, little by little divesting Christ of His Deity! The new version of the Catholic bible now swaps “the virgin” for ”the young woman.”
I have no doubt that you and I know a lot of "young women" who haven't been virgins for very long! This is no more than an attempt to strip Christ of His deity!
I was a Roman Catholic and, truly, never really questioned anything! It was no more than having to observe the rituals of Sunday Mass, etc., etc..
Eleven years ago I decided to read the New Testament, and was in for the shock of my life! I had to reread it to even grasp the enormity of my discovery. Afterwards, I couldn't leave that cult soon enough, divorcing myself from anything I have had to do with it! I was truly sickened!
It took me a long time to stop making the sign of the cross! Any such are reminiscent of a cult!
Please know that I do not say all this as pointing a finger at you, rather, reaching out to you to come out of that system!
Read John in a perfect Bible that is the King James Bible, and learn in it of the true Christ!
May the Holy Spirit guide you and bless you!
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee...
Hosea 4:6 (King James Bible)
Referring to Charles Spurgeon as the prince of preachers is asinine.
ReplyDeleteIf there is a prince of preachers it would be the apostle Peter who preached the first sermon on the day of Pentecost..and of course the apostle Paul. All the apostles.
I guess, being a JACK ASS yourself, you can only think in terms of things being "asinine!"
ReplyDeleteJust what bearing has your most ASININE comment to this post?
Really, you have good information that it was on the day of Pentecost that Peter preached his first sermon?
YOU ARE AN ASS! These were preaching even during Christ's life, YOU FOOL!!
Were it left up to Peter, WE WOULD HAVE NO CHRISTIANITY!! Peter was a COMPROMISER whom Paul had to rebuke!! Read Galatians, FOOL, to see the type preaching Peter was doing at first!!
Were it not for Paul, we would have no Christianity!! He to be the KING OF PREACHERS!!
Besides, IDIOT, to call someone a "prince" is a term of endearment!!
YOU ARE A REAL JACK ASS!!
