Amazing how it is that life never ceases to surprise me! I have found yet another impostor, who presents himself as a Preacher believer in the King James Bible, yet evidences being anything but!
I am publishing correspondence had with him, which is self-evident. It began when I received an email invitation to a course in Hebrew, offered by Pastor Ed Rice, to whose Penny Pulpit Newsletter I subscribed. No more! He has proven to be a liar, and I have no use for such!
The following is being published verbatim.

Dear Pastor Rice, I pray this finds you well. You may remember having heard from me in the past, for I very much trust and respect your knowledge in the true word of God, particularly because you claim belief in the preserved word of God in the King James Bible. Internationally renowned for its accuracy, the King James Bible preserves the Old Testament and the New Testament in exemplary English, which were translated perfectly into our common language during its Golden Age. For the English-speaking peoples, the King James Bible is the fully reliable final authority in all matters because it is the Holy Scriptures, divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, and preserved in English, which is the lingua franca of our contemporary world. How then it is that you claim: "Read your Bible in the King James English and it is black and white with clarity. Read your Bible in the original languages and it is in living color." Really? Then it is we MISS A LOT by trusting ONLY in the King James Bible!! There is so much more room for growth OUTSIDE of reading the King James Bible, say you! What should we learn next, together with the Hebrew to truly have God's word in the "original languages"? The Greek? The Aramaic? Our experience would then explode with living color, wouldn't it, and be complete?! I am extremely disturbed by this your promoting of more Bible correctors in future, if not outright Judaizers! I am further disturbed by what I read in your journal regarding a visit to Israel: "It is a first step that can change forever how you read your Bible, set your desire on the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and get busy in growth and witnessing." Oh! My! I would think Paul's epistles well provide for the above, and so much more: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8 51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 WOW! Need our desire be for anything more than the above? Besides, it is NOT Christ's "return" that we should desire, but His catching us in the clouds for Himself! Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 Thessalonians 2:1 10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more; 11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; 12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing. 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, ven so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:10-18 I wished to really think it over through much prayer before writing you, reason why it has taken so long to acknowledge your email! I pray you view this for what it is really intended.
Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you.
Proverbs 1:23
This says nothing about needing any "living color" added to the word of God! Yours in Christ, Helga Hickman |

Re: Plese read this! Re: Join A Biblical Hebrew Study Group Free
In the interest of full disclosure, I should tell you that I am not in the habit of ever needing anyone help me write anything! Never have! Rather, it is I who has helped others write many-an-item! Furthermore, I am known to hang people with their own words, thus, this is what I will proceed in doing! The task proved to be easier than I expected, as the very first thing I found, is a perfect example of your double talk! No doubt, the Holy Spirit is lighting my way! Neither do I care to look for more! I haven't the time nor the inclination to deal with the likes of you! I find it amazing that a supposedly literate adult write in such contradictory ways: "God recorded His holy Scriptures in Hebrew and Greek. No translation captures all of God's color." If this were the case, then it is that the King James CANNOT be God's word, and much less inerrant! That is pure logic!! Even an IQ as low as yours can grasp this truth, no doubt! Yet, I refer to a mailing of yours dated November 13, 2010 on the 1 John 5:7 [this was in response to someone who had written Ed Rice] issue that says, Isn't it amazing how people can walk away from FACTS in two very different directions. - Really! Isn't it?! You should know, for that is exactly what you are doing!
The bottom
line source of this contention really is "Who are you going to
trust?" The Bible Critic, or the
Infallible Bible. You the former, I the latter. - It gets to be humorous, doesn't it?!! Relative to what you write me, this makes you an outright liar! Very fitting, I say!
God is the author of languages, and I have no
doubt He knew a time would come when there would be people reading His
word in different languages. Thus, whatever the language be, if the
source is correct, it is God's word, and as such, it lacks no color or
any other imbecility those too full of themselves may have others
believe! Bible correctors such as yourself, and the many you are about
to produce, sicken me! Imagine having a C-student as a teacher!English happens to be my second language, and I can assure you, I can say the very same thing in both languages, no color to be amiss in either! GOD PROMISED TO PRESERVE HIS WORD! I BELIEVE GOD, NO IFS OR BUTS ABOUT IT! IF He meant to specify preserve his word only "in Hebrew," or "in Greek," or whatever else, YOU CAN BET YOUR BEHIND, HE WOULD HAVE MADE THAT CLEAR IN HIS WORD, as God is NOT the author of confusion! The marvel, sheer marvel of the King James Bible is that it will introduce something and then proceed to explain it! The King James Bible is its own dictionary! Therefore, were there any "extra" coloring to be had, GOD WOULD HAVE SET THAT STRAIGHT, STRAIGHT AWAY, WITHOUT EQUIVOCATIONS! 54 erudite scholars, godly men, prayed for hours each and everyday, prior to delving into the translations. They approached the work with all reverence for it was GOD'S WORD they were handling! If you think the Holy Spirit wasn't hovering above these, then it is you are a bigger fool than I give you credit for being! These translators were fluent in a number of languages, and not some pompous asses who presume to know more than others, such as you, I can now say: THEY KNEW MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE! And, IF it were that any nuances were lacking in their completed work of the Holy Bible, you can bet your life, it would have been disclosed, for these men were also the personification of humility! You seem to straddle both sides of the fence, and are thus a deceiver! I care not to receive any more of your dubious truths! They are not worth a penny!
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

I have just unsubscribed from the Penny Pulpit Newsletter with the following note:
February 6: 2013:
I HAVE PURGED THIS BLOG OF ALL EXISTENT POSTS RELATED TO ED RICE, with the exception of 1 John 5:7 issue, to show what a hypocrite the man is!
I have just found out how it is he has permeated a few circles that believe the King James Bible to be their final authority, and not any originals needed, not knowing of this man's real thinking. I shall enlighten them all I can.
Ironically, it is his advice I follow, given in the post mentioned: to expose the Bible critics! How very funny!
Ah, the old Portuguese proverb always holds true: You catch a liar faster than you catch a person with a limp.
God certainly has a sense of humor!

Dear Helga,
ReplyDeleteThis post is truly enlightening by the Holy Ghost. I pray the Lord give me this discernment. I did not understand the waters we are in amongst 'Christians'.
And, here I came to see how you are! I pray this finds you the bowl of cherries and not just pits! We are ever in the Lord so, we are always filled up, right?
Tenants? Any prospects? Kitty's neck? It wasn't ringworm was it?
I've been working nine to ten hour days this week so, forgive me for words I may type that make no sense!
1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
In Christ Jesus,
Wendi
Oh! My dearest sister in Christ, Wendi, you are a true salve for my wounds! It is even worse than what you read above, for, being a woman, I did not want to "overstep" my bounds, with which I am quite content, but "men" to whom I let this known, staunch "defenders" of the King James Bible, WILL NOT SAY ANYTHING, though I gave them them opportunity and waited for days to hear acknowledgment of my mail to them! I find this so very disheartening!
DeleteOh! These have really "smart" replies to some nitwit that may comment on a video, but when it comes to pointing out the evident to a "man of God," these cower in the worst ways! Men, indeed!
Small wonder Jack Schaap got away with so much, for so long, for all those pathetic "elders" were no more than his enablers!
I am tired, truly tired of even bothering with anything anymore!
Oh! My! Working all those hours when it is you just recovered from a cold! Be sure you get enough rest!
Indeed, my "plans" for crawling in bed as soon as I could with my Checkers did not materialize! Surprise!
I had a late caller who did come to see the apartment, but "has no money!" Unreal, isn't it?
One who had come earlier wanted the apartment with just the "promise" he would catch up with the security deposit on a weekly basis, except... he forgot there was rent to pay, also! I tell you, the IQ of most who wander the streets here in Niagara Falls does not reach room temperature!
I got to listen to some four sermons, last night, to include the Live Streaming Bible Study! Very good the on-going "quick" study on all the books of the Bible. Next week he will speak about Hebrews, who many believe Paul wrote, but...
Indeed, to "lay hold on eternal life" with Christ, who died for one who deserved it not, such as me, is what shames me into continuing the fight, so I may be deserving of a crown of righteousness I may lay at the feet of my Saviour!
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (King James Bible)
All my love to you, my dearest! You are a most-necessary balm for my soul!
