Thank God CC pastors like Mike Macintosh oppose Warren.

This is to James who commented that Calvary Chapel promotes Rick Warren. They do not. Just because Greg Laurie happens to be speaking at a conference that Mars Hill Church is hosting (which is NOT a part of Calvary Chapel) does not mean he backs Rick Warren in any way. Greg Laurie was invited to speak at this conference because he is a leader as an evangelist who through his Harvest crusades and the power of the Holy Spirit leads many people to Jesus Christ. Rick Warren is considered a leader in how to build a big church and give people what they want whether it is Biblical or not. That is why he was invited. I attend Calvary chapel it is a non- denominational church movement focused on the inerrancy of the Bible and the expository teaching from Genesis to Revelation. At our church it is all about Jesus all the time. God bless you!!! :):):)

What kind of an example is this church giving its own congregation, when it is that Rick Warren IS WELCOMED to there speak?
I doubt that learning how to build a big church be a good excuse, given that Jesus said FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT, and not 'many there be that find it!'

Goodness gracious! And your church seeks to promote the likes of these by giving him a venue? A man who denies Jesus to be the Son of God, and agrees with the Muslims that their god is the same as our Almighty God??
How very disgraceful of any pastor to do this! And you say this church is all about Jesus? Which one? The Son of God or the Muslim Isa, for whom Warren prayed during the presidential inauguration? This is being DOUBLE MINDED, and the word of God says such men are UNSTABLE!

Obviously, this that your church does, does not subscribe to what the word of God says, much less follows the CHRISTIAN JESUS!
Saddleback is teeming with lost souls, and no one should seek to emulate its leader, who will end up in the lake of fire!
