And that is just what HISTORY has to say of ONE OF THE POPES!
Dozens others who were no more than murderers and adulterers, child molesters, thieves... These came from APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION? Not on your life! Wise up! Learn your history NOT from the tales the Roman Catholic Church, A CULT, has concocted, but from recorded WORLD HISTORY!
For beginners, you would find that there was nothing Catholic UNTIL Emperor Constantine decided to UNITE the PAGANS with the Lukewarm fearful Christians under one umbrella religion, a UNIVERSAL religion! And, if you look in any dictionary you will find that CATHOLIC = UNIVERSAL!
This is NOT a coincidence! THIS IS INDISPUTABLE FACT!
Furthermore, TRUE CHRISTIANS have been around SINCE the apostles, INDEED, the same who were persecuted by many, to include Constantine and later the Roman Catholic Church!
You show your utter ignorance of this fact when you believe that TRUE CHRISTIANITY came from the polluted pool of the Roman Catholicism split through Luther, i.e., the reformation!
The Anabaptists, Waldensians, Albegenses,and many, many more names they bore in their attempts to ESCAPE the Inquisition of the Dark Ages, in which the Roman Catholic Church TORTURED AND MURDERED MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN FOR READING AND ONLY BELIEVING THE WORD OF GOD!

Finally, I am not a Baptist! I am a Christian, one whom the Holy Spirit graced with salvation from the CULT of the RCC in which I was for 52 years! Praise God, He opened my eyes, and had me just read the New Testament, and see for myself that there is NOTHING about the RCC in it!

The RCC NEVER would allow for the reading or owning a Bible! Why? Because in it lies the truth!
JESUS HIMSELF ADVISED WE STAY IN THE WORD! He was speaking to poor men and women who didn't even have enough education! YET, HE TOLD THEM TO READ THE WORD OF GOD!
He is the REAL Jesus, ALIVE, and not dead as the RCC continually depicts him! Your own creed says he is seated on the right hand of God... On what? A SPRINGBOARD THAT CATAPULTS HIM A ZILLION TIMES PER DAY IN THE BLASPHEMY THAT IS THE EUCHARIST! This is utterly disgraceful!
Your supposed "first pope," WHICH HE WAS NOT, says:
