Boy Scouts Wavering on Homosexual Leaders

After going all the way to the US Supreme Court to defend their right to refuse homosexual leaders, the Boy Scouts of America are now under attack from their own. Just a few months ago, the BSA leadership declared that they intended to keep the policy of not allowing openly homosexual leaders. Yet, in late January an announcement came that a change was coming.
Because of the BSA’s century-long record of help to parents dedicated to raising good men, a heated discussion immediately spilled into the national news. And that is where it was revealed that this attack was an “inside job.”

In order to obtain top leadership advice, the national BSA board invites respected corporate leaders to sit on their corporate board. It turned out that two of these board members were heads of multinational corporations that had already bought into the homosexual agenda. Randall Stevenson, CEO of AT&T, and James Turley, CEO of Ernst & Young, were openly calling for the board to reconsider its ban. Both companies are considered friendly to gay rights having capitulated to pressure from gay rights activists.

In the proposed policy change, the homosexual advocates were up to their usual strategy: first, get the camel’s nose under the edge of the tent. The change was not to be a complete reversal of policy, but to simply eliminate the national policy leaving it up to the local chapters to make the decision.

How that would play out quickly became apparent. California State Senator Ricardo Lara has introduced a bill to strip not only the Boy Scouts, but all youth organizations of their tax exempt status if they refuse to open their ranks and leadership to homosexual members and leaders. “I thought it was necessary for California to make sure we don’t condone the discriminating practices of youth groups like the Boy Scouts of America,” the openly homosexual Lara said.

One of the basic rules of propaganda is to tell as big a lie as possible and repeat it as often as possible. The big lie here has to do with the concept of “discrimination.” The gayless "gay" propagandists have succeeded in converting a sinful behavior into a “born-that-way” lie. Discrimination against women and black people has been largely broken in the U.S. as we recognized the unfairness of it. This was legitimate because being black was not a behavior, they really are “born that way.”

However, homosexuality is not what a person is, it is what he does. Try as they might, no proof has come out of the massive research for a “homosexual gene.” For thousands of years, in most of the world, homosexuality was a preferred behavior —called homosexual preference.

Then came the big lie that it was an “orientation.” This moved it into the born-that-way category. Upon this change, the drumbeat soon persuaded legislators to include “sexual orientation” into the anti-discrimination laws. Existing laws and taboos against this sinful behavior were soon overthrown. Now they are determined to stamp out all opposition to their perversion, including God’s biblically expressed opinions. Modern Bible versions have altered the “sodomite” scriptures to soften God’s statements. A new “Queen James Bible” just came out that alters only the 8 passages that target this abomination.

When the announcement came in January, the firestorm of opposition persuaded the BSA leadership to kick the can down the road, postponing the decision until sometime in May.
