Can there be any doubt that this country was founded on Christian Values?
Not a chance!
But this is not something our children will come to learn in school!
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. John 3:19
First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
When the constitution was ratified, according to John 3:19 light had come into the world, because the founding father's love for the Light. But those who love the darkness also began the subversion of the First Amendment and has continued to this present day. The separation of church and state as it was intended was to protect the individual freedoms of men from religious tyranny that all knew abounded in their home lands so as states joined the union, each had a preamble in their constitution that recognized the truth of that First Amendment and continued for 183 years until all 50 states are now witnesses to that truth.
The facts of history illustrate the this nation never intended to be "God neutral." Public displays of worship and subservience to the God of creation have always been made matter-of-factly. There can be no greater example of this than casual and unapologetic declarations concerning God in the constitutions of every one of the fifty states!
